Description

The American Red Maple is a stunning shade tree with great color. Small red blossoms steal the show in early spring even before the red-tinged green leaves emerge. These maple leaves mature to solid green before turning a bold crimson red in fall.

This tough red maple is cold hardy and adaptable. It is drought tolerant once established and can tolerate wet soil. This lovely tree makes an excellent street tree because of its high tolerance for air pollution.

The American Red Maple tree is easy to grow and requires no maintenance once it is established. This fast growing shade tree offers fast shade for the home landscape. Our American Red Maple is the Brandywine, a seedless variety of red maple. It is referred to as a “male selection” because it does not produce seeds.

Key Features:

  • Fall color. The Red Maple tree offers vibrant red foliage in autumn.
  • Easy to grow. Once this tree is established after around 3 years, little maintenance is required.
  • Fast growing tree. This fast growing maple tree grows more than 2 feet per year for the first 10 to 15 years.
  • Seedless. This male selection was bred by the US National Arboretum. It is a cross of the October Glory Maple and the Autumn Flame Maple trees. This tree does not produce seeds.
  • Multi-season interest. Enjoy the red flowers in early spring that are soon followed by young green leaves with hints of red. The foliage loses the red tint and becomes solid green in summer. In fall the leaves turn heads when they morph into wine red.
  • This seedless maple tree won’t stay in stock long! Order yours today before they are gone!

    How To Care

Spring and fall are ideal times to plant the your maple tree. However, if you avoid extreme temperatures you can plant this shade tree almost any time of the year.

The American Red Maple tree can grow in full sun to part shade. This shade tree is adaptable to most soils, but prefers moist, slightly acidic, and nutrient-rich soil. Mulch this maple tree with a 1 to 2 inch mound of pine bark or pine straw after planting. Mulching helps keep the roots cool and moist.

Keep the mulch away from the trunk. Water deeply at least once per week while your tree is establishing. Watering deeply less often helps the roots grow deeper and establish faster. The American Red Maple can tolerate wet sites, but it shouldn't be planted in standing water. Fertilize this tree in early spring and when planting with our slow release fertilizer to give your tree a boost

Maple trees don't generally require pruning, but, if needed, prune when they are dormant to clean up the canopy or maintain shape. The American Red Maple tree is pest and disease-resistant.

Excellent transfer and image quality. It really does work in an Epson Eco tank, as long as you never fill it with the Epson ink.

The Essential Heat Press Tape for Perfect Sublimation!
    Size: 10MM 2ROLLS
As someone who regularly works with sublimation, I know how crucial it is to have a heat press tape that actually works. After using this tape, I can say it's an indispensable item in my arsenal of tools. What I like most about this tape is its excellent adhesion. It sticks firmly to the surface, keeping the sublimation paper securely in place throughout the entire pressing process. This is vital to prevent "ghosting" or any shifting that could ruin your design. With this tape, my transfers come out crisp, clear, and perfectly aligned every time. Another highlight is its heat resistance. It easily withstands the high temperatures of the heat press without melting, warping, or leaving a sticky residue on my substrate or the heat press. This gives me great peace of mind and ensures the cleanliness of my projects and equipment. Plus, it's easy to remove once the pressing is complete. It leaves no marks or sticky residue, which is a huge relief, especially on projects where the finish is critical. I've used this tape on a variety of materials—mugs, T-shirts, keychains, sublimation boards—and the performance has been consistent and reliable on all of them. If you're into sublimation, whether as a hobby or professionally, investing in a good heat press tape like this is essential for quality results. Pros: Strong and secure adhesion. High heat resistance without melting. Leaves no sticky residue. Easy to use and remove. Crucial for perfect sublimation results. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance heat press tape!
