You will receive one packet containing 100 organic angel's trumpet (Datura inoxia or innoxia) seeds (2 g). Native to the US Southwest as well as Central and South America, this plant produces very large, showy white flowers. Seeds are best started indoors eight weeks before the last frost date. Sow shallowly in a well-draining soil such as a cactus or succulent mix, water well, and allow to dry out before watering again. Seeds may take a few weeks to emerge. Place seedlings outdoors after all danger of frost has passed in a sunny location, taking care to harden off seedlings. Datura is not frost-hardy, but its large roots may be dug in the fall and overwintered indoors, or container plants may be cut back and overwintered in a sunny window. Drought-tolerant but prefers rich, moist soil. Full sun, zones 8-11. Grows to a height and spread of approximately 2-4 feet. All parts of this plant are toxic. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
