How to Grow

Philodendron Pothos Neon thrives in indoor conditions with moderate to bright, indirect sunlight. It adapts to lower light levels but may grow more slowly. Plant it in well-draining potting mix with drainage holes to prevent waterlogged roots.

Care Tips

Philodendron Pothos Neon is relatively low-maintenance. Maintain even soil moisture, avoiding overwatering. Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Fertilize with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks in the growing season (spring and summer). Pruning is generally unnecessary, but trim yellow or damaged leaves for aesthetics.

Uses

Philodendron Pothos Neon is a popular choice for indoor decoration, enhancing homes and offices with its vibrant foliage. Its low maintenance makes it suitable for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts.

Planting Tips

When planting Philodendron Pothos Neon in a pot, choose one with drainage holes and use well-draining potting mix. Position the plant in an area with bright, indirect light. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry, ensuring excess water drains out.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance involves watering as needed and feeding during the growing season. Watch for yellowing leaves, a sign of overwatering. Protect the plant from drafts and cold temperatures, favoring warmth and humidity.

Pests and Diseases

Philodendron Pothos Neon is generally resistant to pests. Occasionally check for mealybugs or spider mites. Treat pests with neem oil or insecticidal soap. Ensure good airflow to prevent fungal diseases, and avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.

Awesome read aloud for young children. Lyrical, whimsical as it describes anticipation for the holidays. It is a book of change and cause and effect. Calming and poetic as children are engulfed in the story. Thank you!

A perfect read for the Christmas season!
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
This beautifully illustrated and lyrical picture book focuses on the little changes in weather, plants, people and more that lead up to Christmas! While most Christmas books focus on Santa, his reindeer, etc, And Then Came Christmas focuses on the tell-tale signs and traditions that people partake in such as hanging wreaths, searching for the perfect tree to decorate, hanging twinkling lights, and lining up to see Santa! This unique holiday read-aloud spans the entire 'season of Christmas', from the falling leaves and bare-branched trees to chilly days and glistening white snow and focuses on all our favorite things about Christmas! The illustrations have a soft and cozy aesthetic that makes this a perfect bedtime or storytime read, especially while snuggled up warm and tight with loved ones while waiting for Christmas!

Make this one a holiday tradition.
Format: Hardcover
This is a lovely book that offers the entire holiday experience rather than just Santa and gift giving. The author goes step by step addressing the signs (weather, shorter days, etc.) that take us to Dec. 25th. This is a "family tradition book" that you'll want to keep and bring out each year after Thanksgiving. Set this book on the coffee table in the living room so that everyone can enjoy it. Book supplied by publisher.

Signs of the Christmas Season
Format: Hardcover
Written in a lyrical format, AND THEN COMES CHRISTMAS is a children's book that illustrates various signals that lead up to the Christmas holiday. It begins with changes of the weather and includes cutting paper snowflakes, hanging colored lights, elves and Santa Claus in stores, looking for a Christmas tree, holiday concerts, making and wrapping gifts, and various other activities. The illustrations are warm and joyful and feature a bi-racial family. AND THEN COMES CHRISTMAS makes a good book to read in mid-November and early December to children.
