Not cold hardy, dormant during winter
WATER
Water once a week or once every two weeks during spring through summer, check to see if soil is dry, water thoroughly
Reduce watering to once a month during autumn and winter months; roots can rot during this time if kept too wet
SOIL
Can mix coarse sand and a good quality soil in equal amount for optimal plant development
Alternatively, cactus soil or succulent potting soil is fine; tolerant of all soil pH levels

Secretes a milky sap that can cause irritation and other slight symptoms of poisoning. It is strongly advised to monitor behavior of children and animals around plant
