Philodendron Silver Sword 6" Pot (Philodendron hastatum)
Overview:
The Philodendron Silver Sword, scientifically known as Philodendron hastatum, is a rare and stunning houseplant admired for its metallic, silvery-blue foliage. The elongated, spear-shaped leaves give the plant a sleek and modern look, making it a favorite among plant enthusiasts and collectors. With its climbing growth habit, the Silver Sword is perfect for training up a moss pole or trellis, adding height and a touch of elegance to your indoor garden. Despite its exotic appearance, this Philodendron is relatively easy to care for, making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced plant owners.
Light/Water Requirements:
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Too much direct sunlight can cause the leaves to lose their distinctive silver sheen.
- Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. The Silver Sword prefers well-draining soil and should not be left in standing water, as it is susceptible to root rot.
Size Information:
- Comes in a 6" pot, making it suitable for medium indoor spaces like desks, shelves, or plant stands.
- With proper care, the Philodendron Silver Sword can grow up to 6 feet tall when supported by a trellis or moss pole, with its beautiful vines creating a dramatic display.
Ideal for:
- Indoor spaces such as living rooms, offices, or bedrooms where its unique, silvery-blue leaves can be admired.
- Perfect for plant collectors or anyone looking for a striking, low-maintenance climbing plant to enhance their home decor.
Care Tips:
- Rotate the plant occasionally to ensure even light exposure and promote balanced growth.
- Wipe the leaves gently to remove dust and maintain their metallic sheen.
- Provide a support structure like a trellis or moss pole to encourage the plant’s natural climbing habit.
Pet-Friendliness Rating:
2/5 – The Philodendron Silver Sword is toxic to pets if ingested, so it’s important to keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
Plant Benefits:
- Purifies indoor air by absorbing toxins and eliminating harmful chemicals.
- Enhances mood, boosts productivity, and fosters concentration and creativity.
- Helps reduce stress, fatigue, and even alleviate allergy symptoms.
- Brings vibrancy and life to any space while providing natural privacy and reducing noise.
- Offers therapeutic benefits, serving as a calming and affordable alternative to a therapist.

Don’t waste your money on this phone holder. I had a very bad experience with it, and it damaged my phone twice.
The holder opens by itself without warning, causing the phone to fall out while driving. Sometimes I found my phone under the seats, and other times it dropped while I was driving on the highway, which is very dangerous and distracting.
One time, the holder suddenly released my phone and it hit the handbrake hard, breaking the screen completely. I had to spend $500 to replace the screen.
The opening and locking system does not work properly. Sometimes it opens randomly, and sometimes it closes by itself. The wireless charging is also unreliable — sometimes it charges, and other times it stops charging unexpectedly. When the charging stops, the holder suddenly unlocks and drops the phone.
Overall, this product is unsafe, unreliable, and not worth the money.

Outstanding! 5 Stars for Mobility, Durability, Functionality and Ease of Use.
This little invention is outstanding! It holds phones of multiple sizes very securely in place without any bonding or sticky attachments that could damage your vehicle. Mobility is simple as it's easy to add and remove to any vehicle with air condition vents. Best of all, various size devices can be easily held in place with a quick squeeze of the side mounts and just as easily removable with a single press of a release button on the back side. The mount is also very strong and holds up to various temperatures. For example, in the summer it can become very hot in an enclosed vehicle and this mount holds up when other mounts tend to fail from over exposure to heat. The failure causes the joints or fittings to loosen, which will cause your device to slip from an intended position. Well, that is not a problem with this one. It has stood the test of time as I have used this mount for over a year in extreme environments. In the end, it appears that my family has come to like this product too. Ahem, my wife just took mine! So, I have returned to purchase another one for myself and two more for my daughters. Then I don't have to worry about my daughters taking mine either. Yes, I'm finally thinking ahead, so maybe you should think ahead and get additional copies for your family members. Either way, try one and you'll likely be back for more. It makes a great gift. I highly suggest this product to everyone who needs a mobile device mount for their vehicle.

Excellent Product and Exceptional Quality and Service – Highly Recommend!
I recently purchased the LISEN Car Phone Holder Mount [Military Stable] and couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was built to last. The design is sleek and modern, and it holds my iPhone 15 Pro Max securely without any wobbling, even during bumpy rides. The military-grade stability lives up to its promise—this mount stays firmly in place, and the adjustable clamps fit my phone perfectly.
What really stood out to me was the ease of installation. It attaches to my car vent effortlessly, with no tools required, and doesn’t block any air flow, which is a huge plus. It’s also compatible with various phone models, including the latest iPhone 16, so I know it will be a long-term solution for my future upgrades.
In addition to the great product, the customer service from Linsen was outstanding. They provided timely and clear communication, answering all my questions before I made the purchase. It’s rare to experience such excellent support these days, and it made my buying experience even better.
If you’re looking for a reliable, sturdy, and easy-to-use car phone holder, this is the one to get! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXLQDY5B Highly recommend!

Well made, but not a good fit for Volvo XC40
One issue with this style of holder, is that the swing arm and holder add a fair amount of weight and extends that weight away from the vent, applying quite a bit more leverage on the vent. It may not be as much of an issue on horizontal vents, but the vertical vents on an XC40 will want to swing side-to-side with all that weight.
As for the build of this particular holder, my only real gripe is the adjustment for the swing arm - after tightening the knob, there will still be some play in the arm...you have to jiggle it while tightening it down to fully secure it. The position of the release button allows one-handed removal of the phone, but really only works by pinching with your thumb on the screen. The clip for the vent accommodates relatively wide fins and the tabs can be rotated to help with stability or removed to provide more clearance (though rubberized tabs would be much more helpful).

Good solid product
Purchased in February of 2025. Very solid item. Use it constantly in our 2011 4Runner and 2017 CX5. This unit attaches firmly to vent fins in both cars. I use iPhone for maps programs and streaming music. When traveling I'm constantly rotating device 90 degrees to use phone in portrait and landscape positions. Unit has shown no signs of losing ability to firmly hold desired position despite frequent rotations. It holds firmly where you place it. Initially I had concerns about placement on dash and blocking view of radio face, clock, MPG indicator, and other displays. Didn't take too long to realize the flexibility of this thing and the many, many positions you can place it due to multiple rotational joints. Pricing was fair. If this ever wears out, I will want to buy another.
