The red-to-green visual indicator on the base confirms correct installation without requiring a wiggle test or belt tension estimation, which eliminates the most common source of installation error across all infant car seat categories. Auto-retracting LATCH stores the connectors automatically and the adjustable base foot accommodates different vehicle seat angles to level the seat correctly. The carrier releases from the base with a single button press and attaches directly to the Vista V3 and Cruz V3 strollers without adapters.
The reinforced adjustable headrest uses EPP energy-absorbing foam to provide side impact protection at the head level, which is the most vulnerable point in a side-impact collision for a rear-facing infant.
