About Purple Top White Globe Turnips |The country’s most popular variety due to its crisp, sweetly mild white flesh. Roots are nearly round, smooth, purplish-red above the soil line and white below. Roots can get 6-in. or more across, but are best when harvested at recommended size or less. Large, lobed greens. Frost enhances flavor. Good keeper.
