- Cyrtostachys renda, commonly called lipstick palm or sealing wax palm, is a tropical palm that is native to swampy rain forest areas of the Malaysian peninsula, Indonesia and Borneo. It is perhaps best known for its glossy scarlet red crown shafts and leaf stalks which bring stunning accent and contrast to landscapes or indoor areas.
- Common names are in reference to the red coloration. In the wild, this palm will grow to 12-15’ tall. Pinnate leaves to 4-5’ long are deep green above and gray-green underneath. Small greenish white flowers in panicles bloom in summer.

A Favorite!
Format: Board book
Having loved Richard Scarry books as a child in the 70's, I was thrilled when he regained popularity in the 90's when we were raising our children. Now I get to share this beloved classic with my granddaughter. She LOVES her Richard Scarry books and this one is wonderful. Every page has so many beautifully illustrated details so there are always new things to look at and discover. She is 18 months old and the Richard Scarry books have been instrumental in helping her vocabulary, now over 200 words. Highly recommend that you add this awesome book to your baby's library and read, read, read to your baby every chance you get!

A great way to start makes adding more a breeze.
Format: Board book
As soon as words you want to teach gain clarity, sentences will follow faster. The little “sponge”takes communication seriously. Add a motion to the word and it will be remembered longer, and used in 3-word sentences, etc. the first 100 words will double then triple surprisingly fast.
