Lilting Belle Daylily

Three words that best describe ‘Lilting Belle’ daylily are: Giant, gorgeous and graceful. Big, eye-catching 8″ blooms are held high on scapes around 3′ tall in our East Tennessee garden. Spider-type blooms make a beautiful sight in the garden. A very good grower and bloomer, ‘Lilting Belle’ is one of our favorites.

Thanks to its height and bloom size, it is an impressive selection for the back of the border. Truly eye-catching on it’s own, but close to awe-inspiring when planted en masse— and especially so in a summer breeze. My goodness, it’s beautiful!

A mid-to-late season bloomer, we typically first see Lilting Belle in our East Tennessee garden around the middle of June. If you are to our north, you’ll see it a couple of weeks after we do. If you are to our south, you’ll usually see it a few weeks before us. One of the longest blooming daylilies we offer, we think of this variety as an excellent choice to extend daylily season. Plus, the cooling lavender blooms are a nice sight to see in the heat of an East Tennessee summer!

Lilting Belle is a semi-evergreen daylily which means it can be grown in gardens across the nation.

We love the cool lavender color Lilting Belle brings to the garden. It looks fantastic when paired with bright yellow or orange, and extremely moody when planted with dark purple. Gorgeous no matter what you plant it with!
