Description:
Giant Red mustards make bold, versatile ornamental edibles. Upright, large rosettes up to 18" tall, are very colorful, with deep red purplish savoy leaves edged and veined pale green. Easy to grow in spring, fall and winter gardens, these grow well mixed with flowers, herbs and other vegetables. The unique spicy flavor adds zest to a variety of dishes. Picked young, it makes delightful garnishes and spices up mesclun mixes. Excellent braised or steamed, in salads or stir-fries. Use like spinach or chard. Harvest whole heads or pick individual leaves. In addition to the edible uses, Giant Red Mustard makes an amazing ornamental plant.
Growing Instructions:
Since mustard greens thrive in cool weather, they taste best when grown as early in the spring as possible or as a fall crop. For a spring crop, direct sow the seed in full sun and rich soil about four weeks before the last expected spring frost and lightly rake them into the soil. Keep the rows 10-12" apart. When seedlings emerge, thin them to 5-6" apart. For a continual harvest, plant more Red Giant Mustard every 10-14 days. For fall planting, plant the seeds in late summer or early fall about 10 weeks before the first hard frost. Warmer climates can grow them from fall through spring. Keep the plants moist and free of weeds. A thick layer of mulch will help conserve moisture.

Good for swimming
Size: One Size, Style: Stick
This is my dog's favorite toy for dock diving. It's lightweight but a good solid size for retrieving and it floats with no issue. I do have to keep it put away when not swimming or he'll tear it to pieces so if you have a dog that likes to destroy toys, just be mindful.

My Lexi loves them!

I myself have never tasted them or chewed them, but my dog Lexi goes crazy over them. I insert them into her chew toy puzzle and she is in heaven! the quality is good. the only problem with them is that my Lexi loves them so much! he is constantly bringing her chew toy over for a refill. again! Best dog toys for active dogs!

A while ago we bought the ball bone toy for our dog but after trips to 4 different pet stores we were unable to find the replacement rings. Imagine my joy when I found them on Amazon for about $5! It's money well spent, our dog is happy and so are we! They are long lasting (about an hour for our most determined dog) and are easy to replace in the toy. Word of caution, sometimes bits of the treats get stuck in the grooves of the toy or under the ball, make sure you take the whole thing apart and wash it well before replacing the treats. So far this is the BEST toy to distract our curious overactive pup. We'll keep buying them. Look at this happy pup!

Longer Lasting than most things I've tried

I bought these to go on the PetSafe Bouncy Bone which I had bought for my Australian Shepherd/Vizsla mix puppy who chews everything. We had gone through so many "long-lasting" chew toys/bones that really lasted only about 10 minutes and I was looking for something to occupy his time a little longer. These do the trick. Although they still don't last super long, they take a little more effort and keep him distracted a bit longer than anything else edible that I've tried. To me they are a bit pricey, so I try to make them last by only putting one on at a time, instead of one on each end of the toy. I also tighten the ends pretty tight to make it more difficult for him to get at the entire ring. If you don't mind the price, these are an easy and convenient way to keep your dog busy.
