Philodendron warszewiczii originates from tropical and subtropical seasonal dry forests from southern Mexico to Central America. The species name is so often misspelled (as "war sc ewiczii") that even Google suggests searching for the incorrect name. No, you shouldn't. The correct spelling is war sz ewiczii , with a "sz".Philodendron warszewiczii grows quite differently from most other Philodendron species. It is perfectly adapted to the seasonally very dry habitat it inhabits. It develops thick, water-storing stems . These creep along the ground and over stones like fat snakes or (less frequently) climb several meters up tree trunks .
During the dry season, it usually loses all its leaves to minimize water loss. Only the tips remain green , waiting for the onset of the rainy season. In the dry forests where it grows, most trees also shed their leaves during the prolonged drought. Only when the rainy season begins does it sprout again , growing under the protection of the newly sprouted trees.
This seasonal rhythm doesn't necessarily need to be imitated when caring for the plant. It grows very well in our garden during the summer and tends to lose its leaves in the winter, entering a period of dormancy. The young plants we offer will need a few more years anyway to develop the typical succulent stem and can be cultivated normally until then. The leaves of the young plants also look quite unremarkable at first. Only when they grow larger do you see that they develop multiple, palmate leaves .
Certainly one of the most interesting and unusual philodendrons, and quite unjustly still rather unknown and rare!
You will receive a strong young plant in a 12 cm pot.

Balls
Size: Medium
My dog loves chasing these balls. He seems to love the squeak! They fit the chuck it stick perfectly, and are great replacements for the originals that came with the stick.

Nice set of balls
Size: Medium
The squeaker quickly became my dog’s favorite ball and has replaced the fuzzy tennis balls. My dog is a nonstop fetcher and these chuck it balls are durable and fun.

Soild
Size: Medium
The orange and blue ball is perfect. Once start taken because the because the blue noisy one was a little to easy for my dog to start ripping pieces off. Will say most toys do not survive his chewing.

Aggressive chewer who loves fetch approved!!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
I highly recommend the Chuck-It brand in general, especially for dogs with an aggressive bite. These balls are awesome and are the most durable balls I’ve bought for my 50 lbs lab mix. He has not been able to break one of them yet and we’ve had a few of the squeaky balls for months. They are a bit pricey but worth it.
The one in the pic has been used for months, lives outside and you can see it’s still in great shape.
