Osmocote Flower and Vegetable feeds for the entire growing season and can be used with edible plants such as tomatoes and peppers, carrots, onions and beans, flowering transplants, flowering or fruiting trees or shrubs, and bulbs. Measure the proper amount of fertilizer, mix into the top 1 to 3 inches of soil, water regularly and reapply in another four months. The amount applied is relative to the size and type of plant. For tomatoes and peppers, 1 1/2 capfuls (equivalent to 3 Tablespoons) is best in 4 square feet. Carrots, onions, and beans should have one capful applied per 10-foot garden row.
