- Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Protect the delicate velvet leaves from all direct, harsh sunlight to prevent scorching.
- Temperature: Warm. This plant needs consistent heat to thrive. Day and Night: 68-86°F (20-30°C). Keep it away from all cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F (13°C).
- Humidity: High humidity (ideally above 60%) is crucial. Low humidity will quickly cause leaf edges to become dry and crispy. A humidifier is strongly recommended.
- Watering: Allow the top portion of the chunky soil mix to dry slightly before watering. Keep the mix consistently moist, but ensure the pot drains well to avoid root rot.
