This one-of-a-kind tree stands apart from the rest. What you see in the photos are what you get, and there will never be another one like it!

I’m Fred the Japanese Black Pine. I have a natural pine scent which gets stronger in the summer sun. As an evergreen, I prefer bright light, meaning at least 2-6 hours of direct sun per day. In the summer when afternoon sun is harsh, you can keep me in part shade. I am an outdoor bonsai and must live outside year-round! I need winter temperatures of under 50F in order to properly go dormant.

Give me a deep watering by submerging my pot up to the rim once every 3-5 days, more often, even daily, on very hot and sunny days in July and August.

Symbolism: Guided by Feng Shui's Wood element, the Japanese Black Pine embodies growth and vitality, and ultimately promotes an energetic life force, opening of new paths, and progressive change towards well-being. The 'Zhen' Chi symbolizes Thunder, indicative of sudden transformation and change. Japanese Black Pine signifies powerful shifts, transformative growth, and strength amidst adversity.

Pot Size*: 6"D x 4"H

Total Size: 17"W x 17.5"H

*as no two handmade pots are the same, dimensions are best approximations.

Very basic
Format: Paperback
The idea of the book is to be condensed and concise but there is too much information that should be expanded on that is not. The writers of this book seem to think students using the book have a strong pediatric background but for FNPs that isn’t always the case. I found myself having to do research outside of the book to understand the chapters. Also there were many typos and mislabeled diagrams.

Poorly written
Format: Paperback
I had to get this for my class. I wish I had a different textbook because it is poorly written, does not explain details, hard to follow the sentences in a certain sections, A LOT of typos (totally misspelled name of the disease). I don't think this is very good textbook material.
