Interested in hardy passionfruit but want to grow from seed and not plants?  We offer the EXACT SAME GENETICS of our Hardy Passionfruit plants (Passiflora incarnata), now as seeds. These are the same seeds we use to start our plants.  Our seeds are untreated, cold-stratified and require no special treatments (ready to GROW!).

We have seen consistent results with our obviously superior strain of passionfruit.  As we've trialed our seedlings we have seen a high number of the vines produce truly outstanding fruit, with more and delicious pulp, larger fruits, and heavy production.  The average weight is around 50g per fruit, which is a good size.
One vine typically produces about 15-20 fruits per season, ripening from September-November.    Planting instructions are here:  https://peacefulheritage.com/pages/planting-instructions

Passionfruit vines, being hardy natives, are highly resistant to insects or disease, and our special strain is quite productive of delicious fruits. The vines grow vigorously and will soon rapidly climb and create a stunning ornamental cover for arbors, fences, decks, etc, making a wonderful natural screen and shade. The flowers begin to come on around July-August and are just stunning.

Plants your vines about 3-4 feet apart early in the season, right after all danger of frost. Very winter hardy once established. By mid autumn the upper vine portion dies back to the ground. The following spring  it will resprout from the roots, vine out, flower and fruit again, thus it is a PERENNIAL. In Zones 9-10 may become a permanent woody vine. Will flower and fruit usually the same year of planting if planted in spring. These seedlings come from superior fruiting vines of excellent quality, size and flavor and represent much better than average genetics. These are Passiflora incarnata. See photos.

NATURALLY GROWN Seed grown at Peaceful Heritage Nursery in zone 6 Kentucky.

RECOMMENDED FOR ORGANIC GROWING

Resistant to: Highly resistant to insects and disease in general. Watch out for Japanese beetles, which can sometimes eat the flowers.  It is the host plant for Gulf Fritillary butterfly larvae.

Pollination: Any P.incarnata seedlings will cross pollinate each other.  Pollination is done through bumblebee species.  If you do not have natural pollinators, you may need to hand pollinate.

Approximately 20 Seeds per packet or 100 Seeds per packet (CHOOSE SIZE)

Germination rate appears around 80%

My favorite E edger so far.
Color: Yellow
For a battery powered unit, it was much better than I expected. Powerful enough to do everything in my yard. It beats even some of my previous good gas ones. I did my whole large front yard with a little more than one battery. Pretty good, actually.

Does a good job, and works pretty well. Took weeks to have it delivered.
Works pretty well, seems to be slightly underpowered. I think it would work better if the soil here were drier. The shroud around the blade would probably not jam up with dirt if the soil here is drier. I was constantly having to remove the battery and using a screwdriver to remove the dirt from the shroud. The shroud would work better if it was larger. There is an adjuster that lowers a metal guide that fits up against the concrete that helps you to keep the blade right up to the edge, make sure to lower that guide into place. The 20 Volt Max batteries I used are hard to insert and remove, but mine are aftermarket batteries, and another tool I own is also hard to insert and remove the same batteries.

Good luck with trying to find blades. To work properly one has to find a blade with a center hole of 7/16” diameter OBLONG so it can engage the motor shaft and not spin freely DO NOT BUY THIS REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS

Make sure you have original DeWALT batteries
Color: Yellow
I thought there was something wrong with the edger but it was the batteries. Must use original DeWALT batteries. I have cheap replacement batteries that work fine for all my DeWALT tools but do not work with this edger. Will run for a few seconds and shut off. With original DeWALT batteries, this edger works great.
