Like other Sansevieria varieties, it is highly valued for its ability to thrive under a variety of environmental conditions and its effectiveness in filtering out indoor pollutants. Known as some of the toughest houseplants, they store carbon dioxide acquired at night to use during the day, then release oxygen at night, via photosynthesis, when their pores open.
