Pachira aquatica, often called "money tree" or "Guiana chestnut", is a tropical plant popular in indoor and outdoor gardens for its lush foliage and distinctive braided trunk. The 'Serpent' shape has a unique, undulating trunk that resembles the shape of a snake. This plant is often associated with good luck and prosperity, making it a popular choice for offices and homes. It brings an exotic, green touch to any interior space.

Origin: Pachira aquatica comes from humid environments in Central and South America, where it can reach a large size outdoors. As a houseplant, it is usually kept at a smaller size.

Growth: This plant sports a single trunk, often woven in commercial crops, which supports a crown of large, webbed, glossy green leaves. It can grow up to 18 meters in its natural habitat but generally remains much smaller indoors.

Flowers: Pachira aquatica produces spectacular, large, fragrant flowers that open at night. The flowers are composed of long, cream-colored petals and prominent, filament-like stamens that can measure up to 25 cm.

Light: Although suitable for a variety of lighting conditions, it thrives in bright indirect light. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight which could burn its leaves.

Watering: Watering should be moderate. Pachira aquatica likes soil that is constantly moist but not soggy. In winter, reduce watering to allow slight drying out between waterings.

Substrate: Rich, well-drained soil is ideal. Use a houseplant potting mix enriched with perlite to improve drainage.

Toxicity: Pachira aquatica is non-toxic to humans and pets, making it a safe option for family homes.

Pachira aquatica is an attractive and forgiving plant that can add a touch of tropical greenery to your indoor or sheltered outdoor space. It is particularly popular for its ease of care and exotic appearance, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced gardeners.

Great for aggressive chewers
These are some of the strongest bones I've ever seen. I have aggressive chewers and my puppy loved this bone. She lays on the garage and goes to town on it, not making any marks or chards or breaks like we do often have to deal with. They are long lasting as she has been chewing on it for a month now - well worth the money.

Great chewy for my dogs
My 3 dogs love these already. I smeared peanut butter on one side and passed them out. My 2 that aren't crazy active or aggressive chewers enjoyed the PB, then were done for now. Energizer bunny dog has now claimed all 3 and is alternating which one she chews on. Great buy for keeping them, especially her occupied.

Would not buy again
My dog loves chew toys and was very excited when I opened the package. She played with it for about 10 minutes and now she wont touch it. It does seem very durable as she chewed on it and there was little damage.

Long lasting, not super appealing to my dogs.
Objective Data: I have two 50 pound dogs; a 10mos goldendoodle and a 7yo viszla. The puppy is a moderate chewer, the senior dog takes chewing in binges. He will occasionally get something and work it over for awhile and then not seek out anything to chew for a couple of days. Initially these went over well, but neither of my dogs pursue these much after a few weeks. The puppy will occasionally bring one over to briefly chew laying at my feet. Even with the initial, enthusiastic chewing of "new" toys these are still very intact!! These are going to last such a long time. **CAUTION** if you have beige carpet I don't recommend these toys for your home. They blend in to the color of our carpet and I cannot tell you how many times I have rolled my ankle or stubbed my toe kicking one across a dim/dark room. I would rather walk barefoot through a minefield of legos.
