Aglaonema 'Stripes' hybrid background
Aglaonema 'Stripes' was released as a Florida foliage plant cultivar from a cross between Aglaonema 'Manila' and Aglaonema nitidum 'Curtisii'. Its pattern combines strong silvery-white bands along the side veins with softer silver patterning in the same area.
In indoor pots, 'Stripes' develops as a steady, medium-sized foliage plant. The long leaves give the plant vertical presence, while the clumping base keeps it stable in a container.
Aglaonema 'Stripes' care needs
- Light: Grow in medium to bright filtered light. Strong direct sun can roughen or bleach the silver bands.
- Watering: Water when the top 3–4 cm of mix has dried. Keep the root ball lightly moist during active growth.
- Substrate: Use a chunky, moisture-retentive mix with coco coir, bark and perlite or pumice.
- Drainage: Water thoroughly, then let the pot drain fully before it goes back into a decorative cover pot.
- Temperature: Keep at 18–26 °C with protection from cold glass and draughty entrances.
- Humidity: Moderate humidity reduces stuck or uneven expansion on the longer blades.
- Feeding: Feed monthly in spring and summer with diluted balanced fertiliser; reduce feeding during short, dark winter days.
- Repotting: Move up one pot size when roots press against the pot wall or the plant dries unusually fast.
- Leaf care: Wipe the long leaves gently so the vein pattern stays clear.
- Propagation: Propagate by division or stem sections with visible nodes and healthy roots.
Aglaonema 'Stripes' condition cues
- Yellow leaves with soft stems: Check for saturated substrate, poor drainage or a cold root zone.
- Crisp brown tips: Review watering pattern, fertiliser strength and mineral-heavy tap water.
- Bleached rough patches: Move the plant farther from direct sun, especially near south- or west-facing glass.
- Fine speckling or dull leaves: Inspect leaf undersides and petiole bases for mites.

Heavy linen character, but a beautifully tailored suit!

This is a really nice linen suit! The jacket is beautifully made and well-tailored, with a fun speckled texture that has lots of pretty color variation (we ordered the beige). When I placed it side by side with a similar linen suit from another brand, the difference in the linen texture was really noticeable — this had a much stronger linen character that stands out!
It has three useful pockets on the outside of the jacket, which is great for little hands. The only downside is that one of the inside pockets is just for show (faux), which was a bit surprising and somewhat disappointing for my little guy.
The pants have pockets too, but they aren’t very deep — perfect for small treasures, but not much more. The pants are made from a lighter, thinner single-layer linen compared to the fully lined, double-layer jacket, which makes sense for comfort and easy movement.
The pants didn’t come with a front crease ironed in, so you’ll want to press one yourself. The linen did pick up some creases from being folded in the package, but it doesn’t seem quite as wrinkly as some other linen fabrics I’ve tried. Still, like most linen clothes, especially for boys, the pants will need occasional ironing to keep them looking neat and crisp, especially after a day of play and general wear. The structured, lined jacket stays looking smoother and more put-together with less effort.
It also came with a bow tie, a neck tie, and a tuxedo-style white shirt as extras. The ties aren’t great quality — they’d work fine for quick photos but probably won’t hold up to much actual wear. The formal white shirt feels a bit funny paired with the casual linen suit, but I don’t mind at all. We already have white shirts that we prefer, so we’ll use those instead. For us, the extras are really just bonus items we won’t plan on using.
Overall, it’s a handsome little suit that’s perfect for special occasions like weddings, family photos, or holiday events. My kid looked adorable in it! The stronger linen texture on the jacket gives it a premium feel that I really like. Just be ready for a bit of extra care with the pants to keep everything sharp.

Great suit set

It is incredibly attractive and includes everything a young child needs for a special occasion.
The material is a 75% polyester and 25% linen blend, and the outer fabric feels remarkably smooth. Its unstructured design allows for an attractive, natural drape, and the blend conveniently allows for machine washing at home.
As is typical with linen-based materials, the fabric can be naturally stiff and prone to wrinkling, so I recommend ironing or steaming it before use. The lightweight feel makes it an excellent choice for the spring, summer, and fall months.
Overall, this suit offers exceptional value for the price.

Adorable, Complete Set—Great for Special Occasions

This suit set is such a great find! It comes with everything you need—jacket, pants, shirt, tie, and bow tie—which makes getting a dressed-up look so easy. It's excellent quality for a suit in this price range.
The linen fabric gives it a nice, lightweight feel and a polished look that works well for both formal and semi-casual events. My son looked adorable in it, and it was perfect for the spring wedding we attended.

Boys’ 5‑Piece Linen Suit Set

I ordered this 5‑piece linen suit in size 16 in the beige color. The set includes the jacket, pants, dress shirt, bow tie, and a slip‑on tie. The outer fabric is a blend of 70% polyester, 25% linen, and 5% spandex, and the lining is 100% polyester. The material is lightweight, which works well for warm‑weather events, but the pants are noticeably thinner than the jacket. The jacket feels sturdier because of the full lining. The jacket has a peak lapel, flap pockets, and cuff buttons, and the stitching and seams are tight and even. I did notice a few loose threads, but the fabric itself was smooth with no tears or flaws. The pants have an adjustable waistband, which is helpful, but the length was too long and will need to be tailored. The overall cut of the suit seems designed for children on the thinner side.
The shirt included in my set was a pleated style rather than a plain dress shirt. It wasn’t the style shown in the product photos, and I would have preferred a standard shirt that could be worn for various occasions rather than a very formal shirt. The tie is a pre‑tied slip‑on style with an elastic band. I would have preferred a traditional tie instead. The suit arrived in good condition with no damage, and the color was even throughout all pieces. The price is on the higher end for similar 5‑piece sets. I rated it 4 stars because the jacket is well made and the set includes all the expected pieces, but the thin pants, unexpected pleated shirt, and slip‑on tie kept it from being perfect.
