Myrtillocactus geometrizans 'Crested'
Common Name: Dinosaur Back Cactus

Myrtillocactus geometrizans 'Crested', also known as the Dinosaur Back Cactus, is a wildly sculptural, fan-forming mutation of the classic blue Myrtillocactus. Instead of growing upright columns, this crested form develops thick, undulating ridges and folds—often resembling the spiny back of a dinosaur or a desert mountain range frozen in time.

The powdery blue-green skin and chunky ribbed texture make each plant look like a living sculpture. Every crest is unique—some are flat and wide, others twist and curl in unpredictable directions. It’s slow-growing, incredibly hardy, and a true conversation piece for any collector or design-forward plant display.

☀ Light Requirements
Thrives in full sun to bright, indirect light. Outdoors, it loves full sun with good airflow. Indoors, place near a bright window and rotate occasionally to encourage even growth.

💧 Watering Needs
Water deeply when soil is fully dry. Like all Myrtillocactus, it’s drought-tolerant and sensitive to overwatering—especially in cooler seasons. Reduce watering in winter.

🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Cold-hardy to about 25–30°F in dry conditions. Protect from frost and freezing wet soil. For winter shipping, consider adding a [Heat Pack].

✨ Special Features
Crested Growth – Dramatic fan-like folds resemble a dinosaur’s back
Powdery Blue Color – Subtle glaucous tones give it a frosty, otherworldly look
Collector Favorite – Each crest is one-of-a-kind and highly sought-after

Other Common Names:
Dinosaur Back, Crested Blue Myrtle, Crested Myrtillocactus

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.

Breathtaking
Format: Kindle
A fantastic coming of age story about a young woman finding love for the first time while spending the summer before college with her grandmother. She also manages to reconnect with her artistic side as she spends time with her grandmother, who is a fairly well known artist. Though it is subtle, I felt that the interplay between the scientists heading off to MIT to study planetary science and the artist trying to figure out whether the abstract painting she was working on was still "speaking to her" or just something she messed up is the tension that drives a good portion of Aria's story.

Very Important Message for All of Us
Format: Hardcover
Absolutely delightful, oftentimes comical look at what is a very serious situation, collection of memorable metaphors of a memoir. A real page turner. I highly recommend it. There is a subtle recognition of a spiritual nature that we are all born with. Only some of us have the courage to live out the compelling spiritual direction that we come into the world with. Thank you Kyle.

Parents beware!
Format: Hardcover
This books is about a trans child running away from home and it basically teaches children how to do it. Nearly a step by step example. Then at the end of the book the author offers “resources” and advice. The first advice the author gives is “this book itself is the advice” (meaning: run away from home) and then the author lists ways a child can get around their parents. Even telling children that if they have parental control features on their phones preventing them from looking up stuff (assuming “resources” to run away) that they can go to the library, even suggesting they ride their bike to the library so their parents don’t know, to look up “resources” at the library. My daughter was somewhat disturbed by this book. She said: “I feel like it’s trying to brainwash me into hating you! I had to remind myself of who I am like every chapter. I’m afraid for kids who don’t know better.” Parents beware!
