What is Plant Runner Neem Oil Leaf Shine?

The health spa treatment for your plants!

Much more than just a leaf shine. Plant Runner Neem Oil Leaf Shine is an organic blend of beneficial nutrients that improve photosynthesis, boost plant health AND clean leaves, all with a natural, protective shine that won't block your plant's pores, essential for plants to 'breathe'!

"Got gifted my first bottle, took me a while to get round to use it but once I did the difference in the shine on the leaves was amazing! I am now on my second bottle and it is now something I always have to have in my collection."
Hannah Percy
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Why is Plant Runner different from other leaf shine products?

🪴 WON'T BLOCK PLANTS FROM 'BREATHING'

Unlike most other leaf shine products, Plant Runner's Neem Oil Leaf Shine is non-comedogenic. A fancy way of saying it won't block your plant's pores (called stomata), which plants need to take in carbon dioxide and 'breathe out' oxygen and water vapour.

🪴 KEEPS WATER MOVING

Some leaf shine products say they 'reduce water loss' as if it's a good thing! But leaves need to 'breathe' and that includes water. Their stomata don't just put out oxygen, they also release water vapour.

Reducing water loss is NOT a benefit if you're a plant. Plant Runner Neem Oil Leaf Shine will not block leaves from releasing oxygen or water vapour. That keeps water flowing, reduces wilting, reduces the risk of root rot, and improves nutrient transport.

🪴 BOOSTS HEALTH

Plant Runner's leaf shine is about more than just good looks. It's a naturally rich source of organic sulphur, proteins and trace elements for a little pick-me-up health boost, like a spa treatment for your houseplants! They don't just look good, they feel better too.

🪴 DOUBLE GROWTH BOOST

More than just cleaning and shining leaves, Plant Runner Neem Oil Leaf Shine also naturally boosts photosynthesis in two ways to support growth

Organic sulphur is a critical part of photosynthesis, helping plants convert sunlight into energy to boost growth. Plus cleaner, dust-free foliage means leaves can do their job as solar panels for your plants, like cleaning your windows lets more light in.

🪴 SAFE & GENTLE

Plus it's safe to use around pets and children and won’t harm beneficial insects like bees, butterflies and ladybugs.

🪴 NATURAL SHINE

Plant Runner's leaf shine leaves behind a healthy, natural shine, NOT an artificial gloss that makes plants look fake! That glossy shine is a sign the product is coating the leaf (and blocking plant's pores). Stay away from the fake, high-gloss leaf shine products.

🪴 STAYS FRESH MUCH LONGER

Most neem oil has a shelf-life of around 4 days once mixed. Usually, you mix neem oil with water, which has to be used up in 1-4 days, meaning mixing small quantities every time and wasting what you don't use up.

Plant Runner's Neem OIl Leaf Shine is different. The plant-based oil blend base extends the shelf life to 18 months. The natural oils also act as a wetting agent, which both prevents the usual complaint with Neem of the mister nozzle blocking up, and also extends the potency of the Neem on the plant after spraying - all without the need for synthetic preservatives. And without leftovers going to waste.

Directions: How to apply neem oil to plants

Give your bottle a good shake then just spray and wipe! Unlike others, Plant Runner Neem Oil Leaf Shine is pre-mixed and ready to use straight from the bottle, trigger spray top included.

Whether you spray the leaves directly then wipe - or spray onto a cloth or gloves then wipe leaves - depends on the plant's leaf type...

For smoother or thicker leaves: Spray leaves directly, then wipe off with a soft cloth (I like those fine microfibre cloths or microfibre dusting gloves like the recycled Leaf Love Gloves).

For delicate or sensitive, thinner leaves: spray on a cloth, gloves or cotton pad first, then wipe the leaves. For oil-sensitive plants, wipe or rinse off afterwards with a different cloth dampened with plain water.

"This is so good for when I’m cleaning the leaves of my plant or when I receive a new plant. The added Neem oil is just a great & easy way to help add protection from any unwanted guests that decide they would like to visit. Highly recommend."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

 Not for the fuzzies

Neem products in general are not for use on all plants. Don't use
Neem on plants with hairy or furry leaves, like African Violets. Neem also shouldn't be used used when leaves will be in direct sunlightI use it for all my smooth-leaf dust magnets. Monstera, Peace Lily, Pothos, Philodendron, Ficus, ZZ, Fiddle Leaf Fig (the list goes on!).

How often can you apply neem oil?

You can reapply after 7 days if needed. I do the rounds about once a month for my jungle. A happy medium for most houseplant hobbyists is once a fortnight.

Where is the Neem in Plant Runner sourced from?

Neem oil is a by-product from the Neem tree (
Azadirachta indica), a native tree to the Indian subcontinent (India, Nepalm Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives).

The Neem that Plant Runner uses is 100% certified organic Australian Neem, grown in Queensland, cold pressed to retain all its proteins, vitamins and trace elements.

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.
