Meet the Sansevieria 'Whitney' – a compact and visually striking houseplant that combines classic elegance with a modern character. Its dark green, sturdy leaves are edged with silvery green, textured borders, making this variety an excellent addition to any contemporary interior. This sansevieria is an ideal gift for busy people, as it is one of the most low-maintenance houseplants and a champion at air purification, neutralizing toxins even during the night.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
-
☀️ Light: Partial shade or bright, diffused light. The plant is very adaptable – it can tolerate shade, but its leaf pattern will be more pronounced in better lighting.
-
💧 Watering: Infrequent. Water only when the soil is completely dry. During winter months, watering is recommended no more than once a month.
-
🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Thrives best at standard room temperature (18-24°C). Misting is not necessary, as the plant does well in dry indoor air.
-
🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly (may cause digestive issues if ingested).
🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM
-
Bedroom, because sansevieria produces oxygen even at night, improving your sleep quality.
-
Office desk or shelf, where its compact form and minimalist look fit well in a work environment.
-
Hallway, which usually has less natural light but needs a durable green accent.
