Product Information

Corn Poppies generally grow to heights of about 1 to 2 feet, with single stems that support the blooms. This variety blooms prolifically in late spring to early summer, showcasing its vibrant and diverse colored flowers. The flowering season can vary based on climate and growing conditions.

The plant's foliage consists of delicate, finely dissected, and somewhat hairy green leaves that complement the colorful blooms. Corn Poppies thrive in well-drained soil and prefer full sun. They're relatively adaptable and can tolerate moderate drought once established.

Mixed Colors Corn Poppies are popular in wildflower gardens, meadows, and cottage-style gardens, adding a burst of vibrant and varied colors. They are also used in cut flower arrangements. Corn Poppies are generally low-maintenance. Regular deadheading can prolong blooming and prevent excessive self-seeding if desired.

The appeal of the Mixed Colors variety of Corn Poppy lies in its diverse and vivid range of colors, adding a captivating and naturalistic display of blooms to gardens and landscapes.

Wildflower Planting Time Based on Region:

Southeast

  • Fall, Winter: Sowing wildflowers in Fall/Winter is the ideal time in the Southeast, with October 1 – December 31 being the best dates. The weather is ideal for starting seeds, and seedlings can grow and harden off before frost.
  • Spring: A good time to plant wildflowers, especially annual species that flower quickly. Plant after the last frost date when soil temperatures have warmed to around 55°F, typically occurring within a month or so after the final frost of winter; this ensures the seeds can germinate properly without being affected by cold weather.
  • Summer: You can plant wildflower seeds in the summer, but the hot sun can dry out the soil and stress your seedlings. Summer is a good time to plant quick-growing annual wildflowers.

Southwest

  • Fall: A good time to plant spring wildflowers in the desert Southwest. Fall's cooler temperatures and seasonal rains help seeds germinate. In the mountains, you can plant after spring frosts.
  • Winter: In areas that get snow, winter seeding can give seeds an advantage in the spring.
  • Spring: A popular time to plant wildflowers in most states. You can plant after the last frost and when the soil temperature is at least 55°F. In warmer climates, you can plant at the end of the rainy season.
  • Summer: You can plant wildflower seeds in the summer, but the hot sun can dry out the soil and stress your seedlings. Summer is a good time to plant quick-growing annual wildflowers.

Northeast

  • Fall, Winter: The best time to plant wildflowers in the Northeast is in late fall, after the first frost but before heavy snow. This is known as dormant seeding and can take place from November to December. Cold temperatures and damp soil during the winter help wildflower seeds germinate.
  • Spring: Plant in early spring, after the ground has thawed and soil temperatures reach around 55-65°F. This is a popular time to plant wildflowers because it's typically rainier, which helps water seedlings.
  • Summer: You can plant wildflower seeds in the summer, but the hot sun can dry out the soil and stress your seedlings. Summer is a good time to plant quick-growing annual wildflowers.

Midwest

  • Fall, Winter: Plant in late fall (November–December) after the first frost. The seeds will overwinter and germinate in the spring. Fall planting is a good option for cooler climates and can give the seeds an early start in the spring.
  • Spring: Plant in early spring (April–May) after the last frost when the soil temperature is consistently above 55°F. Spring is a popular time to plant because the soil is usually moist from rain, and you can see the wildflowers grow right away.
  • Summer: You can plant wildflower seeds in the summer, but the hot sun can dry out the soil and stress your seedlings. Summer is a good time to plant quick-growing annual wildflowers.

Western

Pacific Northwest

  • Fall, Winter: Plant in late fall (November–December) after the first frost. The seeds will overwinter and germinate in the spring. Fall planting is a good option for cooler climates and can give the seeds an early start in the spring.

  • Summer: In cooler zones with higher elevation, you can plant wildflowers in late spring to early summer, after the risk of frost has passed. You can plant wildflower seeds in the summer, but the hot sun can dry out the soil and stress your seedlings. Summer is a good time to plant quick-growing annual wildflowers.

Great Monitor, poor VESA mount.-Updated
Size: 32-inch, Size: 32-inch
Great Monitor, love to give it five stars except for the non-standard VESA mount. The VESA mount plate just won't work with out major modification, or a adapter bracket that slots into were the stand is connected. Then there is the fact that the cheapest adapter on amazon is on sale for just slightly less than half of what I paid for my dual arm stand. I'm not a monitor expert so I can't speak to any technical aspects, but I can tell you I love it . Its crisp and the details with full ray tracing look amazing. Got one for the wife as well She's got a 9070xt GPU and I'm running a RTX3080 and this monitor does them full justice as far as my eyes can tell. Update: I was going to just live with the stand for this thing...Thing is my desk faces an open room, with dogs, Cats and grand kid the potential for my monitor to fall of the desk was too great. So first I was going to buy an adapter but wouldn't you know, I can't find one. Samsung can't even manage to have the same VESA mounts on their own monitors. So pictured is my own adapter, No problem, just a drill, jigsaw, circular saw, some spare long VESA screws, wood screws, and a piece of reclaimed 3/4 inch plywood and a bit of foam padding (for spacing just a little insurance that the wood screws wouldn't get though to the monitor) Tempted to drop the rating to 3 stars but I really like the graphics on this thing. Would I buy it again...Not sure, I love Samsung products but I don't want to go though this little adventure again.

Great for the price!
Color: Avocado Green
It is quiet and it works well. I was trying to purchase a smaller keyboard my husband had picked up for me for my birthday. Although this is much bigger, it works well is quiet and it didn't cost a fortune. The color of the keyboard was not exactly what I was going in for, however I am grateful to have another keyboard as I had ruined another one with coffee. The keyboard is fairly lightweight although like I said I was trying to get a smaller one to replicate the one my husband got me my mistake has decent responsiveness, mouses ergonomic. It's a nice keyboard I wouldn't have gone with this color personally. Seems to be fairly durable and easy to connect and use. The price was very good so I would recommend two others.

Very quiet and comfortable keyboard
Color: Black
I recently purchased this keyboard and mouse set to replace my old one, and I’ve been very pleased with it so far. The keyboard keys are soft, responsive, and surprisingly quiet, which makes typing much more comfortable. The mouse also has a smooth, soft-touch feel that fits nicely in the hand. Overall, the set feels well made and like a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable keyboard and mouse combo.

It should last, but could be much better.
Color: Black
The keys are quiet and the keyboard should last a long time. Being a flat keyboard, I find myself hitting two keys at the same time frequently, and prefer the style with raised, tapered keys. The mouse times out and needs to be woke up by right clicking, but other times seems to lose connectivity entirely. Overall, I wish for something better
