High output CFL Grow Lights are extremely cost effective, easy to set-up and efficient to operate. These bulbs fit into any standard screw-in light fixture. Full spectrum lights (6400K) mimic the sun of mid-afternoon in June: perfect for growing a wide variety of edible and ornamental plants. We recommend CFL grow lights for maintaining productive growth on plants wintered indoors. 13 Watt CFL bulbs are equivalent to 60 Watt incandescent bulbs in terms of light output... but use only about 1/4 the energy.
13 Watt CFL full spectrum bulbs are a popular option for general lighting around the home; the light is similar to what is used in SAD's lamps and sets a more cheery tone indoors compared to the orang-y colour of common bulbs.
Spectrum: 6400K
Lumens: 900
Wattage: 13 Watts
Bulb life: 10,000
On / Off: we recommend 16 hours on / 8 hours off for best growth
Height above plants: the lights should be between 4" and 12" above the tops of plants (further away and there is little benefit / closer and there is risk of tender foliage getting heat-scalded)
Please note: This item is available in-store. Due to the fragile nature of grow lights we are not able to ship these.
