Description

brandtianum philodendron Philodendron brandtianumPhilodendron brandtianum, often called the silver leaf philodendron, is one of the most understatedly beautiful trailing and climbing Philodendrons in cultivation. Heart shaped olive green leaves are overlaid with bold silvery bands between the veins, creating a soft, metallic sheen that glows under bright, filtered light. Stems trail happily from a hanging planter or climb steadily once given a moss pole, with leaves enlarging as the plant matures.

Philodendron brandtianum, often called the silver leaf philodendron, is one of the most understatedly beautiful trailing and climbing Philodendrons in cultivation. Heart-shaped olive-green leaves are overlaid with bold silvery bands between the veins, creating a soft, metallic sheen that glows under bright, filtered light. Stems trail happily from a hanging planter or climb steadily once given a moss pole, with leaves enlarging as the plant matures. Fast-growing, forgiving, and refreshingly easy, this is a Philodendron that rewards both beginners and collectors.

Origins
Philodendron brandtianum is native to tropical South America, with a natural range that includes parts of Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, and Venezuela.

Soil and Substrate

Thin pages
Format: Paperback
I purchased this book a couple months back but just started school so I just started using this book and come to realize that these pages are way too thin, you can literally see the words of the following pages and the ink on the pages started to smear where ever I touches, I can't even highlight anything or else the other side of the page would be a mess.

Know the Church Fathers
Format: Paperback
This was a profoundly useful study for the Church fathers to identify how the Church grew in a hostile world.

Incredible & Absolutely Fascinating
Format: Paperback
This book is incredible. Very well researched and balanced in approach. It is the best book I've ever read on the early church and the most inspiring book I've read on how the church can be powerful without seeking worldly power. I would highly recommend this to every pastor and serious Christian. I wouldn't advocate for adopting everything the early church did (Kreider doesn't either), but there is so much to learn. Especially the church in the West, and specifically in America, where Christian nationalism is on the rise. This book could not be more timely or important in helping people understand the relationship between the church and government, and why discipleship that actually changes the habits, values, and lives of Christians must become the hallmark of the church again.

So much I never realized about the shaping of the early Church
Format: Paperback
This is one of the best books I've read. Really well researched. It is interesting in its empahsize on the virtue of patience from the perspective of the early church as it was shaped and formed into what we recognize as The Church.
