A carefully selected mix will attract solitary bees, honey bees and bumblebees – includes Birdsfoot Trefoil, Foxglove, Red Clover, Viper’s Bugloss and Wild Marjoram – all bee-friendly plants named by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. We’ve added a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn marigold, and Night-flowering catchfly.

This wild flower seed mix covers 5 square metres in a garden bed or 15-25 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered in Spring or Autumn. Paper packaging is compostable and 100% plastic-free.

Seedballs are made in North London - from a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout.
