The dark, rich color of Quantum Leap provides an attractive appearance, even under reduced nitrogen fertilization rates. While moderately aggressive, Quantum Leap is not as thatch-prone as earlier aggressive bluegrasses. This translates into better utilization of resources like moisture and fertilizer. Quantum Leap has also shown excellent resistance to many turfgrass diseases like necrotic ring spot and melting out, as well as pests like chinch bugs so inputs are reduced even more. If heat and drought tolerance are a concern, Quantum Leap will provide relief.

It is warm and comfortable. She liked it from the start and goes to it when in the house. The grey fur-look fabric is neutral and blends in unobtrusively. It has held up very well. I washed it one time but don’t think it had room to move well in the washer so it didn’t get as clean as I hoped. It could probably be washed better by hand in the bathtub. It dried well in the dryer.

— Just wanted to add an update to say that after I left this review the seller reached out to me to get more feedback and ask how they could make the experience better. I didn’t respond because I was pretty busy. They followed up and informed me that they have issued a refund for my order and that I do not need to send the item back. I appreciate their customer service. — The product is extremely soft. The dogs seem to love it. However, the “donut” part doesn’t hold up at all and the whole bed feels really flimsy. Our dog was on it for a couple mins and when he got up there is an obvious dent from where he was laying. We got a similar bed from Costco a couple months ago for roughly the same price. The bed holds up its shape and feels solid/heavy. We wanted a second one but it was out of stock so we looked on Amazon and found this one. The dark gray one in the photo is from Costco and the light gray one is this product. I probably won’t send it back (too much hassle) but if your dogs are 25lbs+ this bed may not give the support you are looking for.
