MONUMENT LIQUID Turf Herbicide (trifloxysulfuron-sodium) is the best sedge, broadleaf and grass control partner in Couch with reliable and effective results. This proven herbicide remains a powerful first choice for many turf managers to manage sedges and broadleaf weeds. The active ingredient in MONUMENT – trifloxysulfuron-sodium – is viewed as one of the most powerful and reliable sedge control options in turf.

Achieve top results with MONUMENT – the leading weed control solution. With 9 years of use in couch turf in Australia, you know you can trust MONUMENT to control the widest range of tough weeds like Winter Grass, Ryegrass, Nutgrass and many broadleaf weeds including Clover and Burr Medic.

Used correctly, this will be the only Sulfonyl-urea herbicide you need. MONUMENT delivers excellent, reliable results when keeping a few important points in mind.

What MONUMENT LIQUID offers you:

  • Highly effective control of Winter Grass, Ryegrass, Kikuyu, sedges and a wide range of broadleaf weeds.
  • A convenient liquid formulation with low environmental loading.
  • Excellent resistance management strategy when used in combination with BARRICADE® Turf Herbicide.
  • Fully systemic action with root, shoot and leaf uptake.
  • Effective management of Bahia Seedheads.

MONUMENT is the established sedge and broadleaf destroyer - a powerful solution for controlling sedges in turf.

  • Excellent turf grass safety over a wide range species
  • Kills sedges and broadleaf weeds at growth points; roots tubers, vegetative plantlets and stem growth points.
  • Inhibits growth leading to cholorsis, sedge and other weed’s death.
  • Actively up-taken by foliage above ground and roots below ground
  • Complete systemic action traveling by both xylem and phloem to growth points

The active ingredient in MONUMENT inhibits Acetolactate synthase (ALS inhibitor), efficiently rendering the weed incapable of producing amino acids, which are the building blocks of cells. The weed is then incapable of continued growth and function, leading to weed death.

MONUMENT is readily taken up by leaves, shoots, crowns, stolons and roots of sedges and other weeds. This herbicide starts as a foliar absorbed product, and the subsequent irrigation required for turf health places MONUMENT into the soil profile. Here it continues to be effectively taken up by the weed’s roots, ensuring maximum effect. Complete weed treatment is achieved through the flexibility of uptake, partnered with the strong redistribution in weeds which makes MONUMENT a powerful option for established sedge populations.

Top Tips

  1. Consider weed growth stage at time of application - Annual weeds such as Winter Grass and Ryegrass do become “green skeletons” during certain times of the season. For example, Ryegrass in early October may still survive due to irrigation and fertility levels required for surface appearance, but these plants are no longer growing actively and with no sap flow there is no capacity to transport MONUMENT systemically. This might lead to sub-lethal rates of uptake and less than optimal control.
  2. Consider the soil temperature at time of application - SU herbicides are soil temperature sensitive and application in the middle of winter with soil temperatures below 12ºC may result in very little uptake by weeds and thus less than optimal control.
  3. Always apply with a non-ionic surfactant - A good quality surfactant that does not influence the pH in the spray tank and increase coverage of the target weed is the way to go. Refer to the MONUMENT label for full details.

Making sure these tips are carefully considered will ensure the best possible chance for top level weed control.

MONUMENT® LIQUID can be used as a post-emergent herbicide on the following warm season turf species: Common Couch, Durban Grass, Hybrid Couch, Queensland Blue Couch and Zoysia.

Fluffy and Supportive Pillow Inserts
Color: White, Size: 12x20 Inch, Color: White, Size: 12x20 Inch
I used these pillow inserts for my couch cushions, and they’ve worked out really well. They give my throw pillows a nice full look without being too stiff or flat, which makes the couch feel more put together and comfortable. Filling quantity: They’re nicely filled and give good shape without feeling overstuffed. Durability: They seem well-made and hold their shape well even after daily use. Color: Clean, bright white that works well with different pillow covers. Appearance: They make my decorative pillows look fluffy and full, giving the couch a more finished look overall.

Exactly what I was looking for
Color: White, Size: 26x26 Inch
I bought these to fill some euro pillow covers and they worked out really well. They come vacuum packed, so at first they look flat, but once you open them and give them a little time, they fluff up nicely. They are soft but still have enough structure to hold their shape on a bed or couch, which is exactly what I was looking for. Not overly firm, but not limp either. They give that full, styled look without feeling stiff. The size is true to 26x26 and fills the covers well without looking saggy. I like that they don’t feel hollow like some cheaper inserts can. Quality feels good for the price. They are not luxury pillows, but definitely a solid option for decorative use and they hold up well. Overall, really happy with them and would buy again for other rooms.

Smells amazingly like cherry, but expect a mess under the feeder.
Style: Wild Bird Food, Style: Wild Bird Food
This is a fantastic budget seed blend to keep your backyard feeders full during the busy seasons. I put a banana in the picture next to this massive 10-pound bag for scale, though I wouldn't recommend leaving the fruit out there unless you want to feed the local raccoons instead. The most surprising part of this bag is the smell—it has a very strong, sweet cherry scent right out of the bag that genuinely seems to bring in the local cardinals and blue jays faster than plain seed. THE GOOD: • The cherry flavoring actually works as an attractant, and the sheer volume of seed you get for the price makes this an excellent value for high-traffic yards. • It brings in a huge variety of ground-feeding birds, especially mourning doves and juncos. THE TRADE-OFF: • This is a "value" mix, which means it contains a very high percentage of filler seeds like milo and cracked corn. Finicky songbirds will actively kick the milo out of the hanging feeder to get to the black oil sunflower seeds, creating a massive pile of rejected seed on the ground. THE BOTTOM LINE: A great-smelling, budget-friendly birdseed that attracts a ton of wildlife, provided you don't mind the ground-feeders cleaning up the mess underneath.

Has attracted a mix of birds.
Style: Wild Bird Food
Great value for the price. Since putting this out, we’ve had so many different kinds of birds visiting our yard. The birds seem to love the mix, and it has definitely brought more activity to our feeders. I also compared prices before purchasing, and this was very comparable to similar products and bag sizes. Overall, it’s a quality bird seed at a fair price, and I would absolutely buy it again

Great for local birds
Style: Wild Bird Food
This bird seed has been a great find for attracting birds here in North Texas! Within just a couple of days of putting it out, we started seeing a noticeable increase in activity. It brings in a nice variety too—cardinals, finches, doves, and even the occasional blue jay. The mix seems fresh and well-balanced, with very little waste. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have a ton of filler seeds that birds usually ignore. Everything in the blend actually gets eaten, which makes it feel like a better value. It holds up well in our unpredictable Texas weather, and I haven’t had issues with mold or clumping. Overall, if you’re looking to attract a wide range of local birds and keep your feeder busy, this is definitely worth trying!
