We've always been fans of the Japanese garden trowel - or Hori Hori.  Throughout lockdown this interest has increased and they have become one of our best selling items.  This has led us to research different suppliers in Japan and source different options.

This is a stainless steel Hori Hori made from stainless steel in Japan.  This means the blade is more resistant to rusting than high carbon steel blades.  The blade runs into the wooden handle - making a strong tool for digging.

The blade is 17cm long and 4.5 cm wide.  It has one full bevel side and the other is 1/3 bevel from the tip.  The wooden handle is 13 cm long and 3.5 cm wide.

The sheath is a basic item made from a leatherette material in a tan/brown.  It's more of an edge protection during storage than an item to be worn on a belt.
