Dyckia ‘Grand Marnier’ is a rosette-forming succulent that displays recurved, silver-green leaves with white spines on the leaf edge. Also features orange flowers on tall stems.

Best in well-drained soil with regular water in summer, little in winter. No fertilization needed. Plant in containers, rock and cactus gardens, or as an accent. Thrives in extreme heat.

Dyckia marnier-lapostollei (White Dyckia) This very slow growing succulent has mostly solitary stemless rosettes to 6 to 10 inches wide with up to 10, but usually fewer, triangular-shaped 4 to 8 inch long gray-green leaves that are covered in silvery white scale-like hairs (trichomes) so that the plant looks almost completely white. These leaves twist and curl as they recurve downward and have large claw-like recurved spines along the margins. Mature plants can send up a spike 2 to 3 feet tall in summer with orange-yellow tubular flowers scattered near the tip - these flowers have extra floral nectarines that drip sticky nectar to attract birds. Plant in a well-drained soil in full coastal sun to light shade - leaf ends shrivel in excess heat. Give regular irrigation when plants dry from spring to summer and withhold water in winter. Protect from cold temperatures - intolerant of temperatures near freezing and much happier when temperatures are well above this. A protected under-eave location or bright covered patio is a great place to keep this plant outdoors in our winter rainfall climate - otherwise figure on bringing it in for the winter.

not better than manual……!!!!!
Do Not Buy This Product. this review is coming at 1 April 2026. This can opener was purchased in October 2025. My initial review was that it worked well and did the job. It was meant to do however, after a few uses, I noticed that the can opener continue to move around and around the can even after the can lid had been cut open. in January 2026 it began to make more and more rotations around the can and the lid was not cut loose. After a few more uses. It just rotated and did nothing else. I sent an email to the company. I contacted Amazon about it. I’ve done everything that I can possibly see to do but I get no positive results. Consequently, I have a six month old can opener. It does not work. worked well for the first 10 or 20 uses; then the cutting edge just wore out (3-4mos.), so now my money was wasted. No explanation no offer, too bad.

Don't waste money on this one
Ordered in January 2026. Worked good the first few times. Now it just rotates around and around the can but doesn't cut anything. I'm so disappointed because it failed shortly after my return window closed.

Easy to use! No more hand cranking.
If you like the ease of an electric can opener, but don’t have room to store it or don’t want to drag it out when you need to use it, this is for you. I like a handheld can opener, but would get so frustrated trying to use it and turn the handle. This can opener is amazing and so easy to use. Just attach to can and push a button. It starts turning on its own and when it is done it stops. You lift it up and the lid comes off cleanly. It is rechargeable so need to worry about batteries. It tucks away in a drawer nicely. I bought my mom one too. She has arthritis in her hands so thought this would be perfect for her.
