Canna x Generalis blooms from late spring or early summer to frost, and despite Canna florets are short-lived, the new florets open persistently providing a continual bloom throughout the season.
Canna White is a dwarf variety of Canna that looks fabulous at the front of the border. Canna Lily can be grown in damp locations such as water banks or ponds, and is great as a container plant. Canna x Generalis seeds have to be kept moist until germination, and growing Canna Lily needs full sun for the best performance, but this flowering plant tolerates partial shade. Canna Lily is a robust cut flower that is often used by florists for various floral applications.
