This is an antique stock seed packet.  Lithograph companies would have an inventory of preprinted seed packets with no company name, just an image and the name of the flower or vegetable.  A seed company, hardware store, or anyone interested in selling seeds would order a variety of packets for the current season, the lithograph company would pull the packets and make a printing run with one color, putting the company name and the specific variety on each packet.

  • Printed in the 1930s.
  • Excellent condition.
This is an original seed packet printed around the date noted above.   This seed package was never used, there are no seeds.  A very colorful early piece of ephemera.   This packet was printed by Hammer Litho Co., Rochester, New York.
