A Fragrant Carpet: Standing at just 3-10 cm tall, Corsican mint boasts vibrant green leaves and a delightfully strong peppermint aroma. Imagine a soft, fragrant carpet underfoot, releasing a burst of minty freshness every time you step on it. Unlike most mints, this little trooper thrives in the shade, making it perfect for those dappled corners of your garden.
More Than Just a Pretty Face: This petite powerhouse isn't just for aesthetics! Corsican mint is a natural bodyguard for your brassica buddies like broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower. Its strong scent confuses pesky insects, keeping them away from your precious vegetables. Some even say it enhances the flavor of your harvest!
Beyond the Garden: Corsican mint's uses extend beyond the garden. This versatile herb is the secret ingredient in the famous crème de menthe liqueur, adding a refreshing minty touch to your after-dinner drinks. Traditionally, Corsican mint has also been used as an antiseptic, a digestive aid, and even a fever reducer.
A Tiny Mint with Big Benefits: Don't let its size fool you! Corsican mint is a valuable addition to any garden, offering fragrance, pest control, and a touch of culinary magic.
