Maintenance-free drive

Instead of a conventional chain, the maintenance-free Gates Carbon Drive CDX CenterTrack belt drive ensures a light, silent and fast ride. For longer tours with climbs, brisk tailwind passages or dynamic traffic light starts, the Shimano Alfine 8- or 11-speed hub is a perfect match.

  With a spread of 307% for the 8-speed hub or 409% for the 11-speed hub, it offers enough leeway for any terrain. The pawl-free freewheel is super-quiet and an ideal complement to the silent belt drive.

  The hollow axle and external bearings work together to achieve the essential stiffness that the belt demands, while a fixed clamp collar gives a precise belt line to ensure a highly durable belt – at the same time, as a visual highlight, it decisively shapes the character of the bike.

  Stable, robust and yet a true lightweight - the frame is made of high-quality 6061 aluminium. The smoothed weld seams using the "flat-welding" process are a visual highlight.

  The patented Belt Port, an almost invisible opening at the dropout, makes it very easy to change the belt drive.
• Internal cable routing in frame and fork
  
  For a particularly sleek and reduced design, the latest frame generation and self-developed aluminium fork features full internal cable routing.

• Schindelhauer - handlebar Noirette
  
  Shapely and versatile: The Schindelhauer Noirette handlebars combine a classic handlebar shape with contemporary design. Used as an interpretation of the "Stuttgarter" handlebar when mounted upright.
• Curana mudguards
  
  Mudguards are a must for this bike and the understated CLite guards by Curana are the best match on the market. Due to the innovative aluminium sandwich design, these mudguards are both slim and stiff at the same time.
• Supernova dynamo front light
  
  The Supernova E3 Pure light features CREE LED technology and an optimised reflector provide excellent illumination. The stand light function makes for increased security and ensures you’ll be seen on your nightly rambles around town.
• Tubus pannier rack with integrated rear light
  
  In collaboration with Tubus, we’ve adapted the Fly rear rack so it fits this bike like a glove. We integrated the Supernova E3 tail light into the design and gave the cable duct an elegant finish. Made from stainless steel, the rack is both lightweight and robust enough to hold up to 18 kg. The Fly is also 100% compatible with Ortlieb products.
