Description
pink picnic dress April Cornell Women's Red-and-White Checkerboard Dress, MA red and white checkerboard quilts the background, and inside every little frame sits a tiny hand painted rose bouquet, repeating like the squares of a vintage tablecloth spread out under a tree. The cut is the kind of simple that takes work to get right. Puff sleeves with an elastic hem keep the shoulders soft, a row of small front buttons runs down the placket, and the back ties through to bring the waist in as much as you like. Side seam pockets

The cut is the kind of simple that takes work to get right. Puff sleeves with an elastic hem keep the shoulders soft, a row of small front buttons runs down the placket, and the back ties through to bring the waist in as much as you like. Side-seam pockets sit deep enough for a phone and a handful of just-picked berries.
A plain dress would have done the job. This one packs the basket, finds the shade tree, and saves you a slice of pie.
