One of Disney's absolute classics, Sleeping Beauty was the 16th feature and introduces Briar Rose/Aurora! This is a cel setup featuring cels actually used on-camera in the production. What's wonderful is that this is actually a "Disney Art Corner" cel setup that was originally sold at the theme park - there was a store where they sold these now rare treasures. This one still has the original gold label on the back from the store and what we believe is the original matting. The matting was inexpensive, but sturdy. It is aged and worn. Mat measures approximately 10.25 x 8.75".
It's a nice setup in that these 2 characters are not together in the movie, but Diablo IS spying on her the whole time, so it's nice they put these 2 together. The reflection you see in the matted view is only because of our scanner, it doesn't appear in real life.
