Say it with a Socks’ men’s sock subscription is the world's greatest surprise every month. Let us tell you a little bit about why it makes the ultimate gift.

The gift that keeps on giving

Few gifts have everyday use, and are still completely unique and received with a huge smile. Say it with a Sock’s men’s sock of the month club is the gift for anyone who wants to add some flair to their wardrobe. Schedule the date for the first shipment and give it to someone for a special occasion. They’ll get a gift email and gift card, and will keep getting new socks all year long. If you change your mind, cancel at any time.

Make Your Everyday Style Stand Out

Socks are a completely underrated part of your wardrobe. They effortlessly add personality and style to your outfit. Instead of looking like everyone else in the office, our mens sock club helps you instantly seperate yourself from the crowd.

There’s No Better Feeling Than New Socks

Other socks are cheaply manufactured with boring design standards. You find holes in them and after a few months you can’t wear them anymore. With a mens sock subscription box you get the amazing feeling of new socks every single month. Our socks are made of premium combed cotton for maximum comfort and durability, so you can use them regularly without worrying about damage.

You’re Guaranteed To Love It And We’ll Give Back To The Community

Whatever the monthly design on your socks is -- we have a happiness guarantee. If you don’t like the pair you got, you’ll get a replacement one. Also: everyone should have a cozy pair of socks. When you get a mens dress sock subscription we give a mens sock box to the homeless. Our partnership with Lava Mae lets us donate socks to those who need them.

Started w/ audiobook, now I'm ordering the print too
Format: Paperback
This book is GREAT!! The integration of theory she uses to support her claims is masterful. I began listening to the audiobook, because it was cheaper & I go through a ton of counseling & psych books. I am a grad student in social work, and I'm also a therapy client trying to heal myself. I appreciate that this book targets "chronic shame" which as a central experience to a bunch of issues. The hundreds of books and articles I've researched seem like they were mostly ALL working back to this issue. In a psychology culture that is big on cognitive and chemical solutions to mental health, the relational approach that she emphasizes is critical to the healing process. I appreciate the research she uses from object relations, affect regulation, interpersonal, etc. I purchased the hard copy because 1. I can't underline/highlight an audiobook and 2. I want a copy of the references of theorists and study's that she draws from, because they are pure gold. All therapists need to understand the contents of this book! Unless you are perfectly fine offering band aid solutions. Clients and self-helpers beware. It's not triggering in terms of content, it is activating in the sense that she describes the felt experience of shame SO WELL. I could locate my own felt sense of shame which is, by default, unpleasant. Some stabilization and a decent therapeutic connection is probably necessary before cracking this book open. But that's why I love it. I needed to go deeper and get the core issues. And this book is like a map that guides you right to it.

The best book I have read in a very long time. Transformative. I am slowly processing my new understanding of my relational trauma so well detailed in this book.

One of the best books on shame out there
Format: Paperback
As a shame researcher and educator, I often refer to DeYoung's book because it is so full of resources and relational tools for clinicians and individuals relating to the neurobiology of shame. It is a very small book with A LOT of information. Many references to the shame research and suggestions for treating shame in clinical practice from a perspective of right brain relationship dynamics. Thank you Patricia!

Highly recommend.
Format: Paperback
One of the most helpful, lucid, and comprehensive books on shame I've encountered. This was required reading for graduate school and is now one of my most returned to, dog-eared, and referenced books. Can't recommend enough.
