Vintage plunge v neckline maxi dress with jewels in silky pumpkin colour rayon jersey from the 1970s. The colour is amazing, the fabric is weighty and had a slight shimmer. Gathered bust with Empire waist, the waist band is sewn with pearls and rhinestones at the center and sewn around the waist band in a double row. Long full sleeves have band cuffs with hidden snaps. The maxi skirt is full and gathered at the front, the back is bias cut. The bodice of the dress is lined, the sleeves and skirt are unlined. Closes at the back with a zipper and hook and eye at the neck and waist. There is a very faint mark on the lower skirt back, it is not seen in the folds. Marked size 9, approximately a 1/2 size smaller than a modern 4.
