Vintage 1960s ruched little black wiggle dress, sleeveless with a fitted bodycon cut. Super sexy! It has a metal back zipper and a hook at the back of the neck and waist to cover the zipper (shown undone in the photos).

Measurements and Condition:

Fits like: Labeled size 10, fits modern women's small
Fabric: Feels like sheer rayon crepe over an acetate lining

Condition: Very good, you may need to steam some of the ruching back into place, and the straps were taken up by a previous owner (there is about 2" allowance if you need to lengthen them again, but it seems to fit well as is). See close up photo of this alteration on the inside - nothing is visible when the dress is worn.

Ruthie Gilmore's examination of California's prison-industrial complex paints a sobering portrait of the effects of the state's post-industrial decline in the past quarter century. Supplemented by numerous charts, maps, and statistics, Gilmore argues that the massive prison-building project that began in the early 1980s was rooted in earlier developments, namely the failure of the "welfare-warfare state" to absorb the numerous surpluses created by political and economic restructuring.
