I absolutely love this late 1960s resort-wear dress. The print is a vibrant tropical floral, but for some reason it also evoke Christmas feelings, perhaps due to the palette— think Christmas in Hawaii! The dress may look simple upon first glance, but the construction is quite intricate. Pleating at the bodice centers upon a horizontally gathered waistband, all of which (in tandem with the full skirt) creates an hourglass illusion.
