This exceptional Queen Anne chest of drawers is a beautifully preserved example of early 18th‑century English cabinetry. Crafted from richly coloured oak with a deep, time‑worn patina, it features a total of eight drawers. Beneath the moulded top, the framed upper surface cleverly conceals an additional hidden drawer, offering a discreet storage feature typical of fine period workmanship.
Original bat‑wing brass handles and escutcheons remain throughout, and the chest is raised gracefully on four turned bun feet, completing its refined and well‑balanced silhouette.
