The cost of our vintage pieces include restoration and painting in any of our in-house colors with a satin or matte finish. We are able to do a stain and/or gloss finish for an additional 20%. If you aren’t in love with any of our in-house colors though not to worry! We can also custom match any color thrown our way for an additional $200.

PLEASE NOTE YOUR HARDWARE CHOICE IN THE NOTES DURING CHECKOUT: We offer a few different options when it comes to the hardware of your vintage piece — all included in the price! Our options include: leaving the hardware as is, painting it in a brass, black or silver or choosing new hardware altogether. We offer many different hardware options on our website that you’ll love. At this time, we are unable to polish hardware as each piece of hardware is unique and varies on how it will take polish.

Our current production estimate is 9 weeks but can vary based on demand and the piece. This is an estimate and not a guarantee. Our pieces are one-of-a-kind and come with their own one-of-a-kind issues, which can occasionally extend this timeline. We at MegMade believe that treasures are worth the wait and what remains consistent is our commitment to getting you your piece as quickly as possible.

SHIPPING: We deliver both locally and out-of-state!

CHICAGOANS: We partner with a professional delivery service called Schlep. Their price includes white glove delivery and typically ranges between $80-$160 depending on size of the piece and location. Once payment is made or you’re notified that your piece is complete you’re free to schedule delivery at any time through Schlep.it. OUT OF STATE: We partner with some amazing, independent contractors. This service includes blanket wrapped delivery to your door. Most of our shippers are lone wolves so, unfortunately, this service does not include white glove. Please note that given their shipping routes this service takes time to set up and you’ll need to allow 2 to 8 additional weeks for delivery. I went into The Divorce expecting twists, suspense, and plenty of jaw-dropping moments—because that's what Freida McFadden always delivers. Somehow, she still managed to exceed my expectations. The twists felt shocking without being forced, and the ending left me stunned in the best possible way. Looking back, all the clues were there, but I never saw the full picture until it was revealed. This is easily my favorite Freida McFadden book so far. It's addictive, suspenseful, and impossible to put down. If you enjoy psychological thrillers that keep you guessing until the very end, this one is a must-read. Freida has done it again—and somehow raised the bar even higher. Highly recommend!

Addictive as almond M&M's

I once read a book that blew the whistle on the abuses in the system that produces young elite figure skaters and gymnasts. One mother said of another mother that she was very likeable, but she'd cut your throat behind your back. That describes a lot of Freida McFadden's heroines (and their besties) to a t. At least one of the following always occurs in these novels. 1. If someone says, "Eh, I'm sure it's nothing," it's not. If someone believes their husband is too busy working to have an affair, he isn't. If someone suspects a knife is missing from the block, it is. 2. If a child or teen bitterly complains of being a victim of peer conflict, there's a good chance he/she is the instigator. They may even have committed or assisted in a murder in the past. 3. At some point, you will be told point blank that the character you have just spent a good chunk of the book with is the polar opposite. And even if you're familiar with the books, it may come as at least a partial surprise since this doesn't occur in most novels. 4. Everyone in the book has a secret, even if it's just hair dye. 5. There's also what I call the "Cold Case" rule: Don't argue near stairs. Ever. But I digress. At first, happily married to a great guy Naomi Roth doesn't really protest when her husband Jeremy, after having changed the locks, insists that she go and stay at the apartment he bought for his now-deceased parents. She believes, despite a few stray doubts, that he is telling the truth when he says that it's just renovations and that it will be better this way - and he's even thoughtfully packed for her. However, soon after that, Naomi is told in no uncertain terms that Jeremy wants a divorce, which makes her a pariah with her fellow mothers, except one. Is her husband having an affair, and if so, what secrets does his mistress have? And who the heck committed the murder in the preface (there's almost one in every book, so it isn't much of a spoiler)? As always, the author makes writing fiction look effortless, which if you've actually sat down to write some, know it usually isn't. Another addictive read.
