This ethereal Christian Dior colorful rainbow-stripe patterned sheer silk draped-cape goddess gown dates back to John Galliano's 2008 resort collection. John Galliano transformed Dior during his celebrated tenure from 1996 to 2011, bringing theatrical storytelling and extraordinary craftsmanship back to the forefront of fashion. His work for the house blended historical references with modern sensuality, resulting in some of the most memorable runway collections of the era.

Vogue noted of this 1960’s socialite-inspired collection that Galliano had, "once again raised the bar for a season that just a few years ago was strictly a showroom affair," and this eye-catching gown perfectly captures that spirit. Cut from airy silk chiffon, the dress is printed in bands of pink, sky blue, and golden yellow overlaid with a delicate white batik-inspired floral motif. The silhouette falls in a long fluid line that glides over the body without feeling restrictive, keeping the focus on the textile and draping. The bodice is beautifully constructed with gathered ruching that crosses softly over the bust before dipping into a flattering neckline. Sleeveless shoulder straps keep the front balanced while drawing attention to the dramatic cape panels attached at the shoulders. These full-length silk chiffon drapes cascade all the way to the floor, creating incredible drama from every angle. You can wear them flowing freely behind you for maximum impact or style them over the arms for a more Grecian effect that feels incredibly editorial. At the side, Galliano’s signature covered buttons close the gown with the kind of thoughtful detail collectors immediately recognize. We were thrilled to spot actress Michelle Yeoh wearing this exact design to the “Christian Dior & Chinese Artists” exhibition held on November 15, 2008 in Beijing’s Art District, further cementing the gown’s documented fashion history. This undeniably chic archival gown is perfect for a destination wedding, a summer gala, or a striking resort look. Regardless of the occasion, this Dior will make every entrance feel cinematic and very memorable.

The ONLY MARKET-AVAILABLE "ISSUE-IDENTIFICATION" book!!!
Format: Paperback
I purchased it twice: the first time in the law school, but I had misplaced it in the school library & lost it. The second time: while preparing for a BAR exam, I have realized that I material, but I was still missing issues. The book helped. Also, I did not get it on my first read & deeply dissatisfied. But, upon reading the second time & reading it later, I have gotten the point completely. The book helps to formulate what the issues are & you have to understand how to "uncover" the issues prior to formulating the issues. The book helped again.

"It Depends"
Format: Paperback
Was a great read up until I decided to not enroll in law school, at which point I cast it aside. It gets very technical about how to write exams, how to think like a law school student. Might as well be called "It Depends," because lawyers are contextualists. Do you really want to go 200k in debt though? Or even 40k total debt at that safety school with the nice scholarships? Is there something you're trying to prove? It's all love on this end; I'm just trying to help you make the right decision, even if it puts you back at square one. Give computer science another shot. Or business analytics. Heck, even video editing! But if you really think law is suitable for you (and it may well be), then grab this book your 0L summer and crush 1L. You already know you're smart. Now you just have to work hard and take the right steps, which this book will outline for you. Also you can negotiate scholarship amounts if you have leverageable offers from peer schools. Good luck, lost girl/boy/zem.

Competitive Edge! Highly recommend!
Format: Paperback
This was one of the best investments I made before I started law school! I read this book July-August before my first semester. Even though I hadn’t taken any classes just yet, it provided me with a decent roadmap for approaching my classes while prioritizing strategy for my finals. I then reviewed the main points of each chapter, especially the last few chapters, in October to make sure I was preparing well with finals fast approaching. Long story short, this book gave my a competitive edge over many of my peers for every final I took! I finished my first semester with all As and in the top 2.5% of my class. Highly recommend! Do yourself a favor, start early, and always remember that the ultimate answer to many law school is exams is “maybe”

Gives a decent head start but it didn't and shouldn't have any impact on grades
Format: Paperback
Reading this book before school started had the benefit of getting me thinking about law and legal analysis. But it had no impact on my grades (I'm at or near the top of my class in all subjects and top overall). More importantly, it SHOULDN'T have any impact on one's grades. Attending the lectures, reading the cases, preparing your own outline, participating in class and seeking help from the professor when necesssary; THESE are the vital steps for success in law school. I gave up using commercial aids for one crucial reason: they distracted me from getting inside the head of the professor and really grasping the nature of the topic. People who try to take artificial shortcuts like using a commercial aid will never excel. If their intellect cannot naturally expedite the studying process, how could a quick summary give someone that special, incisive grasp of a topic? In such a case one would be better off doing all the assigned tasks properly and methodically. Disagree with me at your peril! To be fair, after reading this book, I was able to provide some clever answers in class during my first month at school. After that, I was so involved and interested in the assigned materials, I long surpassed what this book could offer.
