This vintage embellished silk chiffon gown was made in the late 90s by designer Nicole Miller. It features such a flattering bias-cut silhouette, but it also has the benefit of an actual waistband at the empire waist under the bust, giving shape to the chest and waist, creating an hourglass silhouette. The best feature is the draped cowl back— so sophisticated and sext. The paisley-printed chiffon is embellished with beading that accents the colors of the print. It has a side-zip closure and is fully lined.
Measurements: Note that because of the bias cut, this dress naturally "stretches" with the body, and is thus very difficult to measure. It will likely work best for a size X-Small and Small; the most important measurement is the empire waist band because that is where there is an actual seam, so it's not entirely flexible like the natural waist, hips, etc. This also makes it a great maternity dress, as the waist will stretch with you!
Chest: 32-37+" (flexible because of gathering, V neck, and the cowl draping at back)
Empire waist: 27" laid flat, up to 29.5" pulled taut
Waist: will stretch up to about 35" but also works for much smaller (X-Small/Small)
Length: 57.5" (super easy to hem)
Great vintage condition, with minor wear commensurate with age, including very minor loose threads at embellishment. No flaws are noticeable when worn.
