An absolutely gorgeous and incredibly rare Halston couture royal purple strapless gown ensemble dating back to his spring-summer 1978 collection. Halston revolutionized the way women dress and is one of the few designers, alongside Claire McCardell and Norman Norell, to define what is American fashion. Throughout most of the seventies he epitomized the glamour, as well as the decadence of the era, becoming a central figure in the nightlife scene of New York's Studio 54. He was known for his flattering body-conscious clothing in jersey and silks. This alluring look is a perfect example of his genius. The whole set is fashioned in high quality rich royal purple semi-sheer silk chiffon that feels like heaven against the skin. The maxi skirt really looks sensational with movement as it is triple layered and has an elasticized waist for perfect fit. The effortless strapless tube-top has unique elastic veins along the inside of the fabric that create a beautiful puckered effect on the reversed side. A dramatic long sash, which can be worn a number of ways, finishes this ensemble off perfectly. A timeless outfit that is ultra chic for any modern event. This vintage Halston designer ensemble is in stunning condition with no rips, holes or fade. Presents beautifully. Strapless tube top has a thick elastic band for secure fit. Only sign of age are some faint spots on the skirt which get lost in the yards of silk chiffon. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.

Add the right amount

Previous reviewers are adding too much of Concentrace to filtered water. Add only about 20 drops in a gallon of Zero Water filtered water. This will bring the TDS (total dissolved solid) from 0, after using the Zero Water pitcher, which is basically distilled water, to about 110 TDS an ideal level. This doesn't mean that this will replace all of your daily mineral needs because water alone is not designed to do this. You will get the rest of the needed minerals from food and any supplements that you may take. You may also want to consider using a LifeStraw pitcher after filtering with the Zero Water pitcher. Because the Zero Water will remove all dissolved solid including some bacteria, PFAS, and microplastics. But LifeStraw will remove most of the microplastics, DBPs, VOCs, PFAS and pharmaceuticals. One long filter in the Life Straw pitcher will last over a year since you're already using filtered water, but the round filter would need more frequent replacement - it has 2 parts. You must use both filters in the Life Straw pitcher, even after using the Zero Water pitcher. There's a new documentary special on Netflix (May/'26) on microplastics and its dangers that everyone should see. Extremely informative.
