The NuX Reissue Series Plexi Crunch is powerful distortion pedal that recreates the iconic sound of a cranked vintage Marshall Plexi amplifier, providing a dynamic overdrive tone with exceptional harmonic richness and sustain. With controls for master volume, tone, presence and the preamp, guitarists can shape their tone from a light overdrive to a heavily saturated distortion. The preamp control adjusts the amount of distortion, the tone control sculpts the EQ, the master volume control ensures the pedal integrates well with your amp's volume and the presence knob brings out the upper midrange and treble to help you cut through the mix. Packed with components carefully selected to emulate the sound of a Marshall Plexi, the Plexi Crunch delivers an authentic classic rock tone that cuts through any mix.

Authentic Vintage Marshall Sound

The Plexi Crunch recreates the sound of a vintage Marshall Plexi amplifier from the '60s and '70s. With carefully selected components, the Plexi Crunch emulates the signature midrange growl, rich harmonics and responsive feel of a cranked Plexi. Guitarists can dial in tones from a light bluesy overdrive to a heavily distorted hard rock sound. The Plexi Crunch delivers an iconic rock tone that works for any genre.

Simple and Powerful Controls

Despite its complex circuitry, the Plexi Crunch features an intuitive control layout with just four knobs: master volume, tone, preamp and presence. The preamp control adjusts the amount of overdrive, from a subtle boost to a heavily saturated distortion. The tone control shapes the EQ curve, allowing you to cut or boost high frequencies. The level control ensures the pedal integrates properly with your amp by adjusting the overall output volume. And, finally, the presence knob brings out the upper mids and treble, giving your tone more life, helping to cut through in any setting. With these controls, guitarists have access to a wide range of vintage Marshall-inspired overdrive tones.

Roadworthy and Gig-Ready

The Plexi Crunch features a durable metal chassis and footswitch that can handle the demands of the road. It has a compact form factor that saves space on your pedalboard, an easy-to-read LED indicator and buffered or true bypass switching for maximum signal integrity. Powered by a 9V battery or standard DC power supply, the Plexi Crunch is a gig-ready pedal that delivers iconic overdrive tones anywhere you play.
