Description

Seek Outside's Silex a large single-person trekking pole tent that can be easily pitched with four primary stakes. It features two doors and two vestibules to give you a ton of room for one person and gear, even though two people can fit you won't be able to utilize the nest. The Silex performs well in high wind situations because it pitches tight due to subtle cuts hidden in the seams. If rough weather is expected it's recommended to utilize all stake loops instead of just the four corners. The Silex is a zipperless shelter so no need to worry about leaking, wearing out, or adding weight to your pack. The Silex is a perfect option for the hunter that's counting ounces to go farther and hunt harder.

For those looking to add a stove to your silex, we recommend a medium stove if you're looking to save weight, provide good heat, and have a cooking surface. If weight isn't as big of a concern, you want more cooking surface, or you already own a larger Seek Outside shelter like the Cimarron, we'd recommend a large stove.

***Single-wall, floor-less shelters tend to produce more condensation than traditional double-wall tents. Factors like humidity, ground moisture, and vegetation will impact the amount of condensation inside your tent. We recommend pitching your tent in an elevated position to increase airflow and bringing a small towel to wipe the inside of your tent periodically to reduce dripping.***

Update! They are cracking and falling apart already with barely being used and careful care. Complete waste of money. Original review: These are horrible, as far as the smell and not being properly sanded. They aren't pre-oiled like they claimed either. Not worth what you pay for them.

    Sturdy cutting boards!
These cutting boards work great and are sturdy. They lose color quickly but re oiling them will help that. Good product.

    Great quality for the Price
Surprisingly decent for the price! The wood is actually pretty and high quality, but the manufacturing isn't great. The set a received is quite rough and my wife continues to think she will get a splinter. They also are oiled but they are quite dry still and also smell heavily of the mineral oil they use.

    Beautiful but terrible quality.
While I absolutely loved the idea of cutting boards with a stand, these were not the right choice. The wood is exceptionally soft and after the first use the gouges from my knife were pretty deep. After I washed the cutting board from cutting veggies, it started to splinter. Maybe I just got a defective set but I definitely do not recommend this set. Will be returning and getting a different brand/board.

    A unique treatise
    Format: Paperback
I've read part way through this book at this point, reading it together with a friend. It provides plenty material for discussion. It seems to me to be aimed at a seminary audience, as there are some theological and Greek grammatical terms used, but not fully explained. It's not quick reading, but it makes up for that in the unique content. The content is to take a dozen key passages whose interpretation has varied over the last couple thousand years, and show exactly how these interpretations have varied. The title of the book, "...in Full Circle" refers to the idea that some contemporary interpretations have more in common with the most ancient church fathers than they do with their immediate predecessors over the last four or five hundred years. All in all, it's a fascinating way of looking at scripture - through the eyes of influential authors over the course of almost twenty centuries.
