Each 5" x 7" spiral bound Grad Survival Gift Card Book includes:

  • A personalized cover page printed on 110 lb cardstock with up to 20 letters/characters for the graduate's name
  • Fourteen different pages printed on cardstock with unique images and gift card envelopes attached at the top or bottom of the page -  envelopes alternate between pages to keep the book from being uneven
  • Two 5"x7"matte paper sticker sheets with images and words of encouragement - stickers can be used to personalize the book or left for the student to use as they like
  • Ten business card sized note cards for personal notes and words of encouragement - these are sized to fit inside the envelopes on each page, either with a gift card or as a stand-alone note
  • You can cut out any of the 14 pages if you prefer not to include it in this "when you need" gift card book
  • Each book comes with a 10 mil PVC cover to protect it and allow the Gift Card Book to be kept as a keepsake

If you'd like more, the included PL-318 stickers/labels are also available separately for use in planners, notebooks, journals, or anywhere you'd like to put paper stickers. Please note that these paper labels are not water resistant so they are not meant for water bottles or other surfaces that will get wet.

Masterful, Hilarious, and Insightful

The writing style reminded me at times of Michael Lewis ("The Big Short", "The New New Thing") in the way Jason Schreier captures the madness of gaming executives trying to succeed despite their bosses. The way the book describes various antics often had me chuckling or even laughing out loud: "As Pardo's responsibilities grew and his time became stretched between projects, he became known for what many of his subordinates called seagull management: He would swoop down, poop on ideas, and then fly away." It's full of insight about what makes a good game, or even a good remake of a game: "One tenet, adapted from legendary Civilization designer Sid Meier, was that one-third of the units should return from the old game, one-third should be modified versions, and one-third should be brand-new." This book is masterful. I found it impossible to put down: one of the very best books I've ever read about a games company, or any company for that matter. If you are in the games industry, you like reading about crazy businesses or you just like games, get it.
