This model is a high-quality tube preamplifier that has been fully released.
It is based on the highly acclaimed Little Mark Vintage head amp preamp.
It has everything a bassist could want from a preamp, including a flexible 4-band EQ, three preset tones, two clean-mixable overdrives and a 6db clean booster.
Three footswitches allow you to switch the overdrive on/off (hold to switch between types), the entire pedal on/off and boost on/off at will.
The basic sound is clear and speedy.
On top of that, the flexible EQ and drive cover a wide range of vintage-like and modern nuances.
The 12AX7 tube is the core of the sound.
The tube's speedy and rich overtones are immediately apparent.
This character is also reflected in the line output, so it is recommended for home recording and multi-processor seasoning.
Other features include AUX IN, headphone out, FX LOOP, DI out and digital out, making this a complete item that can do it all.

Guided tour through a difficult work
Format: Paperback
For the non-expert reader of Plato, this is a very good text for working through Timaeus. Actually, it may be useful to expert readers as well, but I wouldn't know about that, being firmly situated in the non-expert camp. Though some scholars may take exception to certain parts of Cornford's translation and interpretation, for those of us trying to get through it for the first time and on our own, this is still an exceptional guide. By the way, for an alternative translation and interpretation, the reader may want to check out Kalkavage's translation (Focus Philosophical Library), it is very good (I would rate it 5 stars also) and has some extremely helpful appendices for understanding references to music, astronomy, and geometry.
