The base of each leaf stalk--approximately the bottom 5 inches--is where the flavor hides in this citrusy herb. Remove the leafy top and woody bottom, strip the tough outer layers, and you'll discover the delicious white inner stalk. Chop or mince and add it to Asian-inspired curries, stir fries, and marinades. Use the discarded lemongrass bits to infuse tea, broth, or soup with citrus flavor. The flavor intensifies the longer you cook lemongrass. Use it fresh, or preserve it by drying or freezing. Lemongrass looks gorgeous growing in containers, raised beds, or in-ground gardens. The stealership wanted $60 in my area to change this out. Just look up online how easy it is to do it yourself. Can easily be handled in a minute. The only real thing to note is that it took almost a full gas tank for the car's computer to re-learn how to idle smoothly again. Of course, this is because it learns to compensate for the old dirty filter. So it has to get used to the new/fresh one. Overall, the look and feel of this product is great. Very similar to OEM. After the idle smoothed out it's virtually identical in performance. Would recommend to anyone.
