The ASR is Yeti’s return to XC racing — a statement that modern cross-country demands more than just strong legs. After years focused on trail and enduro geometry, Yeti came back to racing with what they call the lightest full-suspension bike in their history. The Yeti ASR T3 Bike w/DT Swiss XRC 1200 Wheelset is built around that mission: TURQ-Series carbon, 115mm of RockShox SID suspension, a wireless SRAM X0 Eagle drivetrain, and a pair of DT Swiss XRC 1200 carbon wheels that make a compelling case for what an XC mountain bike looks like in the current generation.

TURQ-Series is Yeti’s top carbon designation, and the ASR represents their most ambitious engineering work to date. Rather than adding material for safety margin, they started from scratch with custom ply shapes, precision-cut single-ply layups, and what Yeti describes as “zero redundant carbon” construction. Every ply transition was analyzed, pivots are hollowed out to reduce weight without sacrificing bearing life, and the carbon schedule is tuned individually for each frame size so a rider on an XS and a rider on an XL experience the same torsional stiffness and flex profile. The SL Rocker Link — a billet 7075 aluminum alloy exoskeleton design — carries that weight discipline into the linkage hardware.

The ASR’s flex stay suspension has roots in a Yeti design from 2003, now rebuilt around modern kinematics and short-stroke shocks. At 115mm travel, the near-linear leverage rate keeps pedaling efficiency high through the mid-stroke where XC racers spend most of their time, while the last quarter of travel ramps progressively to handle harder hits without deflecting the bike off line. At 20% sag, small-bump sensitivity runs ahead of what the travel number suggests. TwistLoc lockout routing is internal through the frame, keeping the cockpit clean and transitions between sprinting and locked-out climbing seamless. For descending, the uninterrupted, shorter seat tube allows the Fox Transfer SL Factory dropper to run at full stroke — 125mm on XS and S frames, 150mm on medium through XL — which is more travel than most XC droppers offer on smaller frame sizes.

Design Benefits

  1. DT Swiss XRC 1200 Carbon Wheels — The XRC 1200 is DT Swiss’s flagship XC race carbon wheelset, built for maximum stiffness-to-weight with the durability to handle actual race conditions. On a bike engineered to win, these wheels are the logical match — and on a 29er, rolling weight has a measurable effect on how the bike climbs.
  2. SRAM X0 AXS Eagle Transmission — Yeti’s Hangerless Interface lets the X0 Eagle Transmission derailleur mount directly to the rear axle, gripping both sides of the frame for stronger, more precise shifting without a traditional hanger. Wireless operation, 12 speeds, and a 10-52T range handle everything from fire-road sprints to technical singletrack climbs.
  3. Size-Specific Carbon Tuning — Because the ASR uses single-ply carbon layups, Yeti was able to precision-cut each sheet for the exact stiffness and flex profile appropriate to that frame size. The result is that the ride character doesn’t change based on which size you’re on — a deliberate engineering decision that’s harder to achieve than it sounds.
  4. Fox Transfer SL Factory Dropper — The ASR’s shorter, uninterrupted seat tube was specifically designed to accommodate longer droppers than most XC frames allow. The Fox Transfer SL Factory is a lightweight, reliable choice: 125mm on small frames, 150mm on medium through XL. Modern XC racing rewards riders who can descend aggressively, and this dropper makes that possible without a weight penalty.
  5. Integrated Frame Details — The integrated rear fender keeps mud and debris out of the suspension linkage on wet race days without adding meaningful weight. A custom pivot-mounted chainguide, dual water bottle mounts inside the main triangle, and clean internal TwistLoc routing round out a frame package designed to perform consistently through a full race, not just a test ride.

Final Take

The Yeti ASR T3 with DT Swiss XRC 1200 wheels is built for riders who race XC seriously — or who want to ride at that standard and have the legs and technical ability to use what the bike offers. At $10,600, the T3 build puts DT Swiss carbon wheels under a TURQ-Series frame without climbing into the top-tier build cost. It’s not a trail bike with XC ambitions. It’s a purpose-built race machine that happens to handle technical terrain well because modern XC racing demands exactly that.

Just perfect.
Style: 3 Tier Cart
This cart is beautiful, solidly built and accurately engineered. The gold color is soft and a bit pearlescent. This is very nice and the smoked glass is attractive. The assembly was easy although it took a minute to find the bolts, they are in the frame pieces and need to be removed. This was great because each screw was perfectly threaded. The entire thing was wrapped in bubble wrap and yards of strong tape. It took just as long to unwrap it as it took to build it. A few supports were bent, but were easily fixed with pliers. The finished cart moves smoothly on unobtrusive casters and the shelves don’t rattle because they’re supported by suction cups inserted into the frame. This is a substantial piece and will be very serviceable for entertaining.

Very Sturdy and attractive bar cart.
Style: Square Carts
I am very impressed with the quality of this bar cart. I purchased it for the appearance/styling of it. I looked at 20 - 30 bar carts and this one was the best fit to compliment my kitchen decor. I wasn't expecting the metal to be strong & sturdy, but it was. From the amazon photo, the metal frame looked lightweight and hollow. I also could not tell by the amazon photo if the gold matte finish would look cheap or elegant. I was very pleased with the finish. It was not the shiny brass type finish that I do not like. It was easy to assemble. A friendly F.Y.I. I spent a little bit of time looking for the assembly screws, expecting them to be in the bag with the wheels. They were screwed into the frame pieces which I think is a great idea when packing an item. It 's a good way of knowing that all the screws were sent and that they fit. I will note that because of the solidness of the frame, the delivered package might be a bit heavy for some. Also I found that using a drill on low speed with a star bit made the installation go very quickly.
